So far, it's definitely a fun game to pick up and play with a friend cooperatively. Playing with a freind and causing mayhem is a formula that is difficult to mess up.

I purchased the Gold Edition and it came with a variety of guns and other things (during the steam sale 25% off).

The main thing that gets me about this game is that the story seems rushed. I haven't really grown attached to the protagonist or antagonist - and I love a good villian. I just wish the story team would have worked a little harder to bring a more entertaining... er, story.

Other than that, this game is beautiful and fun to pick up and cause all kinds of trouble with a friend!

YEEEHAW and kick some a@@ for America!

If you love Metroidvania you'll love this game. Bottom line, you go left and right on a screen, some nasty looking dudes pop up, and you mash buttons to kill them. Each time you die you come back tabula rasa, but throughout your gameplay you can find items that you can start with which help.

All in all, if you're on the line about whether to buy this game - just do it. It's cheap and you'll have a great time.

It's not very often that I get to take time away to really become engaged in a franchise like LOTR. Growing up, I was never into the fantasy genre - be it books or movies. All that has changed now. I feel engaged and a part of the 'orcy' universe and that each one of my decisions matter. It keeps me coming back for more each afternoon over a nice cup of joe and making me want to seek revenge on the nasties that betrayed me and literally stabbed my in the back.

If you are on the fence about this one, I would just say pull the trigger. Sure this game has caught a lot of grief because of the in-game purchases. But look, you can obtain everything in the game by just enjoying it - if you're some kind of playboy billionaire and can buy all the loot crates, then by all means go ahead. But if you're like me and just want to feel engaged and enjoy a game for the 'freebie' aspect. Then buy this game and slay some baddies!

Oh yeah and if you see where I have been slain by an orc captain - you better avenge me and kill that SOB.
