Art is good.
Story is ok.
Game play is bad.

Who think it is a good idea that leveling is a must to beat the game and the only way to level up is passing turns.
Because you are required to level up, playing strategically to defeat the boss early give you disadvantage instead of reward.

Also, the party size limit on different locations are very annoying, especially you cannot attack from 2 locations at the same time. It always take extras turns for you to regroup after the attack.

For the positioning, you must place your units at choke points when enemy are spawning infinitely.
However, it has suddenly put enemies in you backyard events which is very annoying.

The strategy part is so bad I rather play an ADV instead.

As a long time Dynasty Warriors fans, I do not recommend this game. I am not saying this is a bad game, it is a good game, just bad Dynasty Warriors games.

• Duel, parry, fortitude improve the dynamic fighting hard enemy
  
• Battle arts add variations in fight style
  
• Large force make fighting large enemy more fun
  
• Level up provides extra progression feelings other than just getting new weapons

• Because of battle arts, there are only 9 weapon types. There were more types in previous Dynasty Warriors.
  
• Level up means you can only use the origins instead of your favorite character all the time.
  
• Cannot character customization the main character
  
• Much less characters than previous Dynasty Warriors.

• Story stopped after Red Cliff. The if story is one of the main part of Dynasty Warriors. I expected the story to continue until defeating other 2 factions.

You figure how it works in first few runs. Then it is just the same game loop for all other runs.
The problems is there very little thing to do and there is very little that you can control.

Basically, it is just use the resource on the map to build product to fulfill the missions. There seems to many different types of item but they are similar items with different skin.

The game loop heavily depends on the resource on the map and there are nothing you can do if that resource is not available. You just build whatever the missions needs and win. There is no strategy really involved.
The skill tree does not feel important. Most of them are just changed the stats for a few percentage.

Daughter is cute and the clothings reflect on the character model.
There are also many CGs (58 career endings and each multiple CGs per characters) which is surprising consider this game price.

There are many game mechanics included but most of them are pretty simple.
Most of gameplay is just min-maxing to get the best result. So, I feel repetitive at second half of the game.

However, it is not necessary to min-maxing. You should focus more on what you want your daughter become.
This game has new game plus mode which is much easier to get any ending your want.

There is no way to lose this game. Even you just skip everything, you can still get the unemployed ending.
If you want to complete your gallery, you need some grind and clever planning for save-loading.

The main story is average, especially you may not know what happened until you get the true ending.
But the main story is not the most important part, your daughter is most important.
How she interacts with the world and grow up with friends are more interesting.

Romance endings are my favorite because it does not limit which character you daughter can fall in love with.
I am surprised when I get harem yuri ending in my first run.

There are some translation problems.
Some people report a one-off crash during one of the tutorials but I did not get it.

Steam cloud is not working right now. Developer is trying to fix but you should turn off cloud save if you do not want your progress to be wiped.

Pixel arts looks good but most characters have only one sprite.
There are some event CGs but not many.

The card variations are small. If you expect good card battle, you should play Slay the Spire instead.
The card effect does not show in order which is very confusing. For example, if you have a relic that draw a card when an enemy dies, you draw the card as soon as you end your turn despite the enemy is not dead yet because of the animation.

The teammate mechanics is interesting but leveling mean you cannot swap them easily.
Also, talent tree is not included in the tutorial.

UI bugs after some event where map is show on top of camp.
Lag when switch between teammate status page.
I also face a bug where I cannot finish a side quest.

I bought this because of this is card game with deck building. But in reality, it is ARG puzzule game with no replayability.

Other reviews seems to like the story but I really don't care about the ARG. DON'T BUY THIS IF YOU WANT A CARD GAME.
