This one's newer and still DX 10.

IMPORTANT INSTALL INFO:

Once it's downloaded go into Properties of the install file and choose the compatibility mode for Windows Vista SP2. When you run it, right click and run as Administrator.

Then install and restart and whateva and it should work without crackling.

Download that driver and install it. It's the latest DX10 driver for Vista as opposed to the DX11 Windows 7 drivers. It fixed it for me.
