I have to say this game surprised me more than I expected based off of all the feedback that came froms critics and fans alike. I was a kickstarter backer of this game, but I had no *real* expectations of what would come of this. Like most things on kickstarter, the end product can be a mixed bag. That is what I would say we got with this game here. A mixed bag.

HOWEVER, it is still a pretty decent CRPG. It takes awhile to get going, but once it does (especially when you get to the Bloom) it is a truly fascinating game that takes place in a new and interesting world. It aims high and falls short in many ways, but more often than not it hits than misses. Like many have said...the dialogue is interesting...but sometimes feels like they are just trying to fill space or be clever for the sake of being clever. Yet, for each instance of that you will find many more examples of just plain weird and out there concepts that will pull you in.

If I had to give it a score out of 10, an 8.3 is where it would sit. It is a perfectlly servicable game, that perhaps with patches and some refinements to dialoge, combat and glitches could rise to an 8.5-8.8. I do hope they continue to make games like this, but based off of sales and feedback it seems unlikely.

Note: I wish they had been more open about cut content. Well I personally don't hold ire like some of the backers, I think it just send the wrong message right before release. Like I said, this is a decent RPG and if your a fan of these games play it. Unfortunately, their poor handling of cut content just....made it so it whimpered out of the gate more than was needed.

Where did the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time go? The ♥♥♥♥, another hour has passed? ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥...this is bad...10/10

This game is an interesting example of something that I felt like I participated in the creators vision completely...and yet I don't fully understand it. However...it worked for me. It is difficult to explain why, but all I can really convey is that by the end...I felt something beautiful...emphasis on FELT it. I don't fully understand it, and I don't think the game was the most graceful or even had that great of an ending....but in the end it was great. The thoughts and feelings this game elicited from me were many...but mostly is that feeling of pure beauty and awe in the end that sticks with me, and really, that is something each person should decide if that is worth experiencing themselves.

There is no denying the art, style and overall flow of the game are great. However, after completion I was left...both awed and more disapointed than I can remember in recent memory. An overwhelming feeling of "thats it?" permeated everything I felt after. Its not that I don't "get it" or even appreciate the deeper meanings hidden in the game. It is just...really...that is it? This along with a fairly high price point make it so I can't reccomend it right now. It would make a decent 10$ or less purchase...but even after that be aware that it will just...end...and you may be left feeling like I did.

This isn't even that great of a game...but it is an amazing story with heart and wonderful characrters...in the Boaderlands unisverse? I know right. Evem better, the game has one of the most ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ insane endings ever. I mean seriously, if it doesn't put a smile on your face you probably have some sort of agenda against having fun. VERY reccomended, and Telltales best game since Walking Dead season 1. Loader Bot you dah man brah.
