Immediate thoughts:

Some things are skimped out on. Chains in the cell in opening scene dont make noise. The movement of the character seems very.. odd. Character moves before feet even start to move (3rd person). Game feels NOTHING like other Elder Scrolls or Bethesda games, but is to be expected in a new Engine (Unreal 5)

Some other things are a nice refreshing update, like the pickup animation of plants, and a lot of other UI elements. It will take some getting used to for sure, but it is a nice fresh upate.

I am a huge Oblivion fan and it was my first PC game ever (besides Roller Coaster Tycoon, Doom, Hexen, and a few other classics) and I really wish it stuck more true to the original. NPCs look quite different, Baurus, Uriel Septim, etc, but it is a nice update for sure.

They sure tried to stick to the original UI as far as the Menu goes, inventory, etc.

Crashed 3x on the way to Weynon Priory, but eventually got there.


Game seems very resource hungry. Im running a 7800x3d, 6900xt, 32 gb of DDR5-6000 Ram, and running the game on an Samsung 990 Evo Plus M.2 NVMe SSD 1tb on 1440p, max settings and getting 75 FPS in most areas, Sometimes 90s in buildings.

Highly recommend this game.

I have never had so much fun playing an online game before. If only we could stop having connection issues 24/7

Absolutely love this game. Very charming and funny.

I honestly wish more games these days were like this. Not trying extremely hard to be a blockbuster hit.

Very fun Game. If youre a patriotic, beer drinking Alpha Male, this game is for you.

Fr tho, its super fun, the players seem to really want to work together in this game, if it isn't apparent from the banding together against the Devs and Sony regarding the PSN account issue.

Its a Zelda/Pokemon/Ark ripoff, but its so much fun and honestly, the only ripoff game ive ever played that is good.

Bethesdas Last Good Game

I like Starfield, but man it leaves something to be desired.

Back to Fallout

Very Bethesda, you will feel right at home.


Graphics are nice
Game is not optimized very well. With a 6900xt on Ultra at 1440p and with a 5600x im having some FPS drop into the 50s at some areas, others see up to 130fps.

Gameplay is pretty basic and tired at this point. Tired as in, its the same old same old. Nothing new or exciting.
I find myself loving the fights in space. The fights on land are just as they usually are in Beth games, but with the different gravities some scenarios can be interesting. Ship building is nice, but more customization of the Living quarters, workshops etc are needed.

Performance is pretty meh and i had to fiddle around for 3 days before i could run the game reliably.

after much of the honeymoon phase has subsided, I deem this game not worth buying. Just completely boring tbh. Nothing special about it at all. Nothing remarkable, worth noting, or bringing up in conversation even with the fans of the Genre/industry.

Just play it

For the Time Period this came out, It was an amazing Game. Obviously a little dated now, but still a fun game.

Like a Goofy version of GTA with Dildo weapons. Try it.

Very fun game. Wish more people played it, although it is dated for sure.
