Both games were pretty good experiences. Sometimes the hitboxes for grabbing stuff felt ridiculously tight or at least annoying to hit with some of the camera angles, so if you wanna collect all the villagers and doll pieces in their respective games, you're likely in for some frustrating times (or maybe I just suck at the game lmao).

Stories weren't mind-blowing, but they were pretty good - you're not gonna get a deep dive into the worlds you're traveling, but they are nice adventures and touch on some human themes.

Soundtracks were great; while maybe not so many songs I'd listen to on repeat, they work well when playing and some of the cuts work well as standalone listens too.

It's a good modern scratch for the SWAT 4 itch, but the AI leaves a bit to be desired. Sneak peeks of future AI improvements like more hesitation animations, suspect weapon stashing, better teamwork etc. seem promising.

Guns sound and feel very nice, the environments are well made and the game can be pretty immersive. The AI and some bugs are really the only gripes, but the AI is such a fundamental part that any negatives it has are amplified by a lot.

I recommend the game if you want to play a visually upgraded spiritual successor to SWAT 4 and can live with the AI not being as good in some aspects.
