On its own, yes.
As a follow up to the 1st game, no.

This is a good enough game in it's own right... but it feels like a drastic step down from the first Tomb Raider in the series. Lara looks completely different and acts unlike the character established in the previous game, who was more level-headed. Also, the game tries poorly to have an "open world" game feel to it. I get that's the new standard right now, but it's now what I want from this game. I dont wan't complecated crafting and petty side missions, I want to Raid Tombs.

I honestly cannot give this game enough of a positive review.
I'm a different person after playing this game.

After all the negative hype blew over, I finally gave this game a try. Ended up really liking it. Excited to see what else the developers will do with it.

Great game, absolutely hilarious. Has good level design and separate campaign levels for single and multiplayer.
