Alright, lets start with some basics.
Graphics: 9/10 (this is if you're sporting an 11 gig graphics card and 64 gigs of ram, so you can play on ultra with no lag)
Play/learning to play: 9/10 (very easy to learn and figure out.)
Servers: some are great, some are boring, some are filled with trolls. All in all you can find some really good modded servers out there with good admin.
Dlcs: 7/10 The new blocks are pretty, i bought them. They kinda lack some things though, the armor and weapons are sub par compared to the base games stuff. For something you're paying extra for they should have a little more oomph.

Now, you can play this game with the minimum or slightly above minimum requirements, but you're going to be lagging out a lot.
You want above and beyond the requirements in order to play this game so that it's actually enjoyable.
There still seem to be some serious memory leak issues with enemy spawning/ai/networking/ and rendering in of game objects.
The mods are where it's at. The developers should take some pointers with some of the mods out there so far as adding blocks, fixing the placement issues with blocks (roofs, for the love of god fix the support issues with roofs), and so forth.
The game can be challenging or easy depending on your or the servers settings. There are lots of places to explore.
There are several dungeons with more coming. There are more dungeons with mods.
Playing with others is pretty fun. If you want pvp there are servers for that, but expect cheating people.
Pve is where it's at so far as playing as far as I am concerned. Pretty good community out there.
Some servers have some strict rules, some are relaxed. So, if you jump on a server and randomly get banned with out warning, well, that will happen with some of them. No need to get angry about it, that's just how the admin are there.
There's a little bit of a story line with the game, though not much of one. There are neat read able things all about, ghosts to learn from, and so forth.
There could have been a little more creativity with the npc's, but you'll find servers using pippi which have talking/quest npcs that the admins have made.

Over all I would give the game and 8/10. It's easy to play, and it's fun.

For an additional review, the developers over at funcom. . .if there actually are any who know how to code, need to go back to school and learn how to do their job. They seem to lack the knowledge or expertise to actually update and improve their "modding toolset", let alone actually fix the bugs in the game.
The game is great, the company and supposed development team not so much. This should also go into the fact that their last update was mostly to break npc ai and to put in an add for their newest failed attempt at an rts. What a joke. These guys are getting dangerously close to bethesda and the fallout 76 fiasco.

So, as of 6/23/2019:
The developers over at funcom have decided to intentionally break several mods from what can be seen. They also like to delete any posts on their forums criticizing the unfixed bugs, lack of expertise with their coding, the inability to add balance to the game, and so on and so forth.
Since the company responsible for this game only keep positive comments not pointing out the actual game breaking bugs, and their public stance on the religion of wicca (which is an extreme prejudice against people of the faith, ie, witches), this game and the company as a whole is getting a thumbs down. Once they actually pull their head out of their back side maybe that will change, but it's not likely. Nor is it likely that the bugs or balance with this game will ever be actually fixed or improved.

**Update**
If you are playing on private modded servers you can find good communities and better things. Aoc and EEWA put the original developers to shame, best to go modded.

Final update:
I had a positive review, but now the game is turning into a cash grab. . .play with mods if they work and avoid their scummy battle pass garbage. The game use to be amazing, and I was excited for magic. . .I just didn't realize it wasn't going to be actual magic, but some sort of cash grab junk that falls way short.
