all you guys had to do was wrap the game into a new look and polish said look.

the render pipeline is complete rubbish right now. can't recommend it in this state, the open world takes way too much of a strain on the gpu while not looking nearly as good as other games that perform at a higher level because theyre OPTIMIZED.

the screenspace reflection are also of the cheap sort youd expect in a crappy reShade preset (torches throwing light to distant wet surfaces, swords angling weirdly on bodies of water that make no sense, ghosting issues with those)

know what you get for 50 bucks here. this is just lazy.

little additional attachment; there is no option to rebind the need for the enter key to confirm item or dialog choices that can be made with WASD. neither does clicking without specifically having to move the cursor to the highlighted item, defeating the point of said WASD input and making it feel dated beyond necessity. i get that preserving the original vibe was a priority here but there is certain small tweaks that are to be expected for good gameplay experience, this is one of those no-brainers to at least move the key to one of the actively used hands.

i can no longer play multiplayer and looking through their avenue for bug reports on discord it will probably take a good while until mine will even be acknowledged at all.

also you can't just decide to downgrade the entire game visually after release to cater towards releasing a switch version, make a separate fork if you want to cashgrab.

hopfrog (yellowafterlife/yal) is a scammer. multiplayer "officially" cancelled, notice of that nowhere to be found on the page its sold on other than fellow players pointing it out.

that in combination with the developers that fell off the team due to crunch and getting burned on payrolls speaks for itself.

update: onboarding remains absolute garbage, the loot system now is slapping you with redundant things much more than before, absolutely nothing that attempts to make the game feel a little less dated. the forum/reddit just confirms the ignorance of the developers regarding the flaws of the game and only move to action when ♥♥♥♥ hits the fan too hard to threaten profitability.
