Absolute boltFUN.
Solid throwback shooter. You're some space marine and you stomping around in your armor, killing a lot of chaos marines and other creatures. Level design isn't smart but weapons feel loud and punchy, super lethal and it is also a strong roster of them. Blood and gore are everywhere when you purge all the pathetic heretics.

Goofy little FPS made by David Szymanski, the creator of DUSK and Iron Lung. Basically your goal is to stop goblin invasion and kill all nasty creatures! It plays like ROTT, weapons are good and goblins are funny.

Tedious fetch quest with boring combat system. Not scary at all

Yooka-Laylee tries to be charming collectathon but fails in a lot of ways.
Overall design is not inspiring. NPCs are some wierd animals or living things/plants and they sound annoying asf.
Everything looks out of place, a mish mash of characters and different themes.
Gameplay is tedious, level design is counterintuitive, sometimes it's hard to find where you need to go, even the main hub feels too complicated to traverse. Difficulty spikes are insane. Some challenges are stupid weak and some suddenly require decent skills.
Game has some good moments but overall it is mediocre and tasteless jank. I can get why people were so рissed with the pricetag.

SPRAWL is one of the shooters ever made.
At first it looks interesting, GitS atmosphere is all over the place, Kowloon is very authentic and OST is top notch.
But then you left with boring level design full of same factories/corridors, braindead enemies chasing you all around, weapons without proper shooting feedback and lacklaster story. They tried to give you a lot of exposition and also hid story bits in scannable QR codes but plot is so boring and woke I didn't even care.
Also, developer is a trans person with toxic behaviour who got salty on negative reviews and ranted about it on twitter.

It is so good and it's finally released.
Aftershock is a fresh experience with a lot of shooting and secret hunting action. Levels are great, new weapon and enemy inclusions are tough. OST is pure acid. A lot of secrets are too well hidden...

Shadow Warrior 3 is a very solid shooter that takes a lot from DOOM Eternal. Gameplay is furious and weapons are punchy.
