Every once in a while everyone is going to find one game and most likely only one game within their whole life that will cling to them. Tf2 to me has been the longest running game I have enjoyed and I can honestly say despite the LITERAL THOUSANDS of dollars I have wasted on the game I don't come out of it feeling scammed or cheated but rather that I just wish it wasn't starting to decay now. If you love that game that's great and it's always going to live so long as people like you are a part of it but to see so many players who truely had a passion for the game and who had a drive to be better at it reach their peak and realise that the competitive community is so fragmented and rotten that all that's left is to go back to stomping public games really hits home hard. Not even bringing up the awful ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ issues and the fact that idiots like MaxBox pushed it out into the public so far that it's become an infestation and then they are able to turn around and ask for forgiveness kills me. Wonderful game, Horrible community.
