See here's why you're wrong. In osu there
is no way to objectively compare players, In chess,
there is an objective way to rank and compare
players since there is literally a ranking system
put in place based on the amount of matches
people win/lose. And before you say omG bUT PP
sySTem and rAnKIng that just isn't true. The
current ranking system in osu overweights and
underweights some skillsets, making it incredibly
influenced by the amount people farm. For
instance, despite being 4 digit, some of the scores
-an has set are not doable by a lot of players
higher rank than he is. And if you're gonna make
the argument that the two players can just 1v1
and show who's better that has a clear flaw too.
Whenever you play a match of chess, the board
always begins the same way, so you can showall
your skill no matter what. The same goes for most
other sports. But in osu, maps are all different so
it basically comes down to the map pooler to make
a well balanced pool, which is entirely subjective.
Whitecat would beat merami in an all aim focused
map pool whereas in a map pool with high bpm
streams merami would win. In conclusion, unlike
other sports(or even video games) where there
are actual ranking ladders, osu doesn't have a
clear, objective ranking ladder, which makes
comparing players incredibly subjective. At best
you compare Specific skillsets(ex: merami streams
faster than badeu). TLDR: You are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wrong.
