Story is about 10 hours of gameplay (including doing the side coop missions at least once, that are part of the story, but also the content you grind after) and I enjoyed it for what it was. I think this is a great intro to the 40k universe/lore for people new to it.

The gameplay is fun and with the classes and guns available right now there is enough variation to enjoy and keep playing. Where the game does lack though, is the mission content. The re-playable/grind-able missions I feel will get a bit boring after maybe 20-30 hours of grinding them. There is some variation in spawns (elites/bosses can spawn in certain parts of the mission path) but with the few missions that you can run, it isn't enough. Granted the devs plan to expand this later.

There is a PVP mode that will extend the games life a bit but I am yet to try it, although I think it is probably gonna be quite fun.

The game looks beautiful and runs smooth for me (7950x3d, 4090FE, 64gb 6000mhz ram) with the only issue being - when I try to quit the game, it doesn't actually quit. I have to kill it manually.

Overall, id recommend this but if you are only here for the story - wait for it to be expanded with DLC releases or wait for the game to go on a 50% sale. I also got the ultra edition - don't do this unless you just want to support the game, the content it gives you over the Gold isn't really worth it.

My GOTY

Not as good as Oblivion or Morrowind, but, still half decent. I wanted to play a mage and a few mods were needed to make that viable, I kept it as close to vanilla as possible but some better scaling for magic schools via the perk tree made a ton of difference.

Fun throwback to the movies with a pretty good story, even on harder difficulties the game is pretty easy. Later on when you have gun board upgrades and levels you are just a walking tank. Nice experience, fun game.

Still as ass as it was in 2018 when I last played it.

Chill fun game.

Really bad optimisation. With a fairly good rig that is only a couple of years old, even on the lowest resolution and settings.. It is stuttering and lagging visually through games. Not internet/connection lag (haha for once on an EA game!) but the gameplay itself.

Probably the most fun I have had on a shooter in a while.

I mic up a lot and it makes for some fun interactions but there doesn't seem to be as many people using in game VOIP as I had hoped.

I think you really need to find a group to play with to have the most fun, I mostly run solo and the organisation of random squads just isn't there.

Idle game go brrrr. Hardcore mode is only hard due to inventory space. Good time waste
