What a frustrating game, seriously. Also, what a rewarding game! One of the best precision platformers I've played. The controls are tight, the learning curve feels just right, the game is challenging in a purely skill-dependent way. I got hooked enough to complete every single level, even the optional ones.

Unlike a lot of people (supposedly) I found myself screaming at my monitor a lot while playing this, but you know what? It feels good to get through the really hard parts. In my experience, it's something you enjoy after you put in all the hard work, not while you're putting in all the hard work.

I have only two problems with this game:
1) It kinda sucks to control on an analogue stick (you'll often find yourself dashing in the wrong direction). I think keyboard is the best way to play it (disregarding the one mechanic that works better on analogue), but you might find a dpad works very well too.
2) A lot of screens in it are very long without checkpoints. You will find yourself repeating the same segments over and over, which some people believe adds to the challenge, but to me it's an exercise in tedium.

Overall, I highly recommend it despite these shortcomings.
