This game offers a excellent and gritty story where Max Payne, a washed up cop who has had loved ones die on the streets he protected, goes on to do private body guarding in Brazil after his old friend from the academy convinces him to do so. Everything in this game is beautifully preformed and slick in it's manner. For example, you can bullet time by merely pressing shift, which slowly depletes a bar that recharges over time. The best part about the firefights is once you pop off at the last goon, it'll enter bullet time regardless and give you a front row seat (a camera change to any angle of the enemy) of the carnage that ensues once the bullets impact them. Another thing that makes this game so intresting is the diaglouge that Max gives about the scenario, which usually is a funny analogy or a pitty remark.

Buy this game for just under 6$ while you still can, I fully recommend it.
