Amiga 2000 player here. The game was, and still is, amazing.

Why? It's The Bard's Tale. Not much else to say about it other than the updated graphics is going to take some getting used to. The Amiga version has a charm that cannot be duplicated.

Chrono Trigger is one of the best RPG's ever made. I had it on SNES, then lost it. I am very glad it is finally on Steam.

Yes. It is a crappy port. Yes, the controls cannot be modified. If you cannot live with the massive issues like that, stay away from this game and play it on another platform.

It's pricey, too. Maybe they would have been better off using the ROM.

To me, it is worth it. This game holds a very special place in my heart.

This may be the best fun I had since Stardew Valley and Minecraft. Keep in mind, this is only on my fun factor scale, and no comparison to the aformentioned games. Although this game may be closer to the former than the latter. Well, by a large margin.

Simply put: Aside from the obvious bugs as development happens, this game has massive potential.

Pros:
+ Lots to do. Sometimes, overwhelming.
+ Cutesy graphics. I love the vibe this game brings.
+ Plenty of places to explore. Secrets to find.
+ I like the combat aspect. Boss fights are satisfying for the most part.
+ Characters have potential to be very memorable.
+ Potential for cool DLC's or a modding community.
+Relaxing!

Cons (I am putting the obvious bugs aside as this is Early Access.)
- I can see the grind as a major turn off for some. I personally love it. I would encourage even more.
- More dialogue would be nice.
- This game needs very serious balance work. For instance, penalty for passing out, nerfing the rock loot, making personal needs important such as hunger.

My gripes are minimal. Sure, this is going to make some butthurt. Oh well, it's the Internet.

A few moments into the game, and I am simply blown away. The soundtrack, visuals, simplicity of controls, ... my mouth dropped to the ground. This is a beautiful game. It's like Mega Man 2 goes back in time to a 1930's cartoon. Brilliant.

As I play more, I will amend this review.

In the meantime, get the game for the eye candy. It's simply fantastic.

A very relaxing game. No pressure, no screaming kids over a mic, microtransactions, or fancy cutscenes. Just a casual game of Mahjong.

+Colorful and varied backgrounds and tiles.
+ Lots of puzzles to choose from.
+ Can get challenging if looking for high scores.

- Menus are slow
- Music gets old... fast.

I bought it because lots of people really hate it.

Plus 1980's themed zombies.

Space battles wearing parachute pants and thin ties. All the stuff old men like me like.

What can I say? Path of Exile is an all around great game. I was skeptical at first since it is a free to play title, but I am so glad I gave it a chance. If you like games like Diablo II, definitely give this title a try.

Pros (Lots of them)
+ Deep customization of character builds
+ Frequent updates and DLC
+ Micro-transactions are mostly cosmetic
+ Complex economy
+ Lots and lots of helpful guides and build ideas
+ Lots of fun!

Neutrals
* Prepare for a very long grind. One character can easily take hundreds of hours. I personally do not mind a lot of grinding, but some dislike it.
* Keeping up with what's new, what has been buffed or nerfed can be quite a slog to catch up on. Prepare to do a lot of reading, especially if you have been away a while.

Cons
- Community can be toxic (Nowhere near GTA V or LoL, though)
- Steep learning curve. Expect to brick characters, especially when trying your own builds.
- Although not necessary, and people go without them, stash tabs become very tempting. They are pricey.

Not much else to say. You are one download away from hack n' slash fun.

First paid game on Steam. I was playing America's Army first.

Then started a very long and expensive journey.

This game is still a lot of fun, and going through it again after many years. Still holds up.

This is the only game where I can leave my kids unattaended for weeks at a time, come back, and the house is not a mess.

Kind of sucks my in game wife will not have sex with me and has stuff for sale...
