Slow pace keeps time to think about how to choose. 0 was more fast paced good easy to go anime version is the perfect ending and there is a movie too but of Coors it's fun time sinnk

Steins Gate - it's just awesome if you're able to get through somewhat goofy setting and really slow pacing (and ofc if time travel sci-fi sounds good to you).
It was recommended to me as a good entry point to serious VNs after you'll (I'll) be done drooling over "basic" Everlasting Summer, Doki-Doki etc
Now I can confirm that point, I'm glad I tried it - planning to continue with Steins Gate 0 now.
