Why did I not play this sooner? I've heard tales of this game, it's twists and turns, the awesome combination of traditional fps weapons combined with fantasy magic made for a very enjoyable experience, and went in with high expectations that were blown out of the bathisphere!

Pros:

+ Great combat.
+ Interesting story.
+ Lots of replay value.

♥♥♥♥:

- The final boss fight was disappointing
- Didn't always feel balanced, went from being op to rapidly using first aid kits and back without skills changing or upgrading any skills/weapons
- The moral choices were only black and white; a few more diverse choices would have kept it fresh.

Despite my distaste for the final boss fight, the following cutscene wrapped up the experience for me nicely, with the ending I got anyway. It's aged well and doesn't feel out of date despite it being 7 years old. 9/10 - definitely lives up to the hype!
