i don't think i've clicked with a game this hard in a long while. celeste is a wonderful platformer that challenged me in the right ways as a player that prefers more easy experiences, the levels are so carefully designed and crafted with purpose where i never feel like any deaths were the game's fault. even though i was timid to touch this game because i knew it would be difficult i'm glad that it had a encouraging attitude towards the player and has a generous checkpoint system where you can try as many times as you want without the fear of losing so much progress which in turn is what made me want to play more and complete levels, even the bsides. on top of all that this game has a wonderful soundtrack, i love how dynamic it is as you venture through the main levels. the tracks in the bsides are just as great, i loved hearing different takes from different artists as they remixed the main tracks. this game has one of the best soundtracks from 2018. celeste deserves all the praise from when it first released and now, and i'm glad i got the courage to finally play and beat it. everyone deserves to play this masterpiece. this is a game people will remember for years and years to come.
