Adds a bit to the story, but not worth the time.

Need for Speed Underground is more fun and less shallow. This one has better graphics but I'm gonna ask for refund and get Heat. Gonna give them another chance I guess.

The fact that from the beginning there's not even the least of substance to connect it to the game that everybody loves, threw me off instantly. Yeah, Gordon talked...but the acting seemed forced and unfitting to the game, it was like a bad action movie with Steven Seagal. I didn't continue after ep. 2 part 1. It was a nice try, and it shows that they put some effort into this, I don't know what budget they had, if they had any, so I commend them for choosing to make it, but with more work and a better script, it could've really shined.
