As of February 2nd, 2023, Back 4 Blood has ceased production after less than a year and a half. The game and DLCs are fun, but only with a group of 4, and good luck getting that while the game still has a $60 base price.

This is the fastest-paced Monster Hunter game in the series. Gathering is streamlined (1-4 actions to harvest previously are now 1 action for 1-4 items), movement is at its pinnacle (wirebugs + dog companion for grappling and drifting spectacles), and the hunts are as smooth as butter, even online! Performance is near-perfect (144 FPS pre-hunt, 100+ FPS mid-hunt with 2060 Super and i5 processor at max settings) and the multiplayer is as addicting as ever. I can strongly recommend this game as-is, and I look forward to additional updates and events!

It's everything you want in a 3D Runescape-esque game, though it is currently the most focused on combat ability at this stage in development. Highly recommend to any fans of RPGs and challenging but rewarding gameplay
