I felt like the game really underwhelmed me. I expected a longer campaign and better multiplayer and in my opinion i havent gotten either, especially considering the "still way too high"price.
I played 2 hours of multiplayer, and somewhere around 6 hours of the single player campaign
(7 hours if i count the time I was just navigating the terrible menus).
and beat the campaign on veteran, so im guessing on lower difficulty settings you might be able to beat the game in less than 5 hours which is just crazy.
I wouldn't call the game "bad" necessarily (the way the game looks outside of cutscenes is extremely good, and the animations are a particular highlight, as well as the game's ultra widescreen support), but I would call it a bad value for my money. maybe if it cost half of what it actually costs, but not at it's current, and a bit ridiculous price (especially considering the game is almost 5 years old!!!).
another cost you have to pay is basically your entire storage space, as somehow this game takes up somewhere around 200gb of storage, which is simply insane.

I'll conclude by showing things as they are: <6 hour campaign, ~180gb install size, ~30$ ON SALE!!!! with multiplayer that's just ok and not much more.

Activision, fix your pricing,
fans, stop paying more than you should.

It's half life 1, you know it's good. Eorth every single dollar I didn't pay for it.

I really enjoyed playing through this game, even though you have to basically beat it 4 times with slight alterations I really didn't mind, and it was enjoyable basically every time. the graphics look really good, but most importantly the game itself is fun and challenging. I'd recommend it to anyone who has the patience to beat it.

this game is a weapon centric masterpiece, or in simpler terms- shoot shoot good.

From what iv'e played it's a decent game, very similar in feel and gameplay to the 3D era Fallout games. The environments look really great but the player models on the other hand don't look good at all. controls are pretty normal and weapons also feel just like in the Fallout games (pretty weak, which actually fits in better with you fighting armored machines). sadly I have 3 main problems:
1.the voice acting-it's very mixed in terms of quality (it's fine until the actors try to show some emotion)
2.The stealth, even though satisfying and well functioning, makes no sense in the context of a machine not noticing you passing right in front of it in broad daylight. In the movies it was clearly stated that the machines had very advanced sensors allowing movement only during the night and making activities during the day suicide, hence-why all of the future war scenes were set at night, and hence-why the missions set during the day make no sense (that bus at the start should not have been able to ever drive during the day with many HKs flying around that should have detected and destroyed it in no time).
3.the price of admission-50$ is too much and having a price of 30 or even 20 bucks would be much more attractive for curious buyers. the price in my opinion will also set a more realistic bar for the game.
for positives I have to bring the music up because it really feels like it was taken out of the first, and mainly second movie. another thing I almost instantly noticed through the music, the atmosphere, the environment and just in general is that the creators of this game are clearly passionate about making a Terminator licensed game.
But in face of all the negatives I brought up, I still recommend you buy this game, if not now then when it's on sale because it's definitely worth playing for any Terminator fan, or even just a Fallout/rpg/fps fan.

Edit: finished the game a couple of days ago and just wanted to add that the end mission is just great, as well as the ending itself, which made sense and was loyal to the source material.

I watched my life burn away, but i couldn't do anything, I didn't want to do anything, I just let the game do it's thing.

if you have a pc you owe it to yourself to get this game. even if you have fallout 4 this game is still amazing and you should not pass it up. the only thing that is bad about this game is the graphics, which can be fixed by mods (which are also a strong point). the story is not amazing but it's fine and the journey is fun, and all the dlc's are great and add alot to the game. in conclusion you should defenetly get this game in 2019.
