bought this within 2 minutes of getting the "now available" email

In the beginning this game is much more fun if you don't know what you're doing. for the first time please play by yourself or with other friends who also have zero idea what they're doing

possibly the worst tech demo of all time

- get hev
- get pistol
- shoot zombies
- get shotgun
- shoot zombies
- see borealis
- kill zombies so ladder to enter borealis rolls down
- enter borealis
- white screen and alyx voiceline plays
- credits roll

also: awful performance even on low settings, forced TAA, awful combat
the floppy headcrab mechanic is awful when there's trash, bodies and snow everywhere, you just have to keep swinging at the ground and hope you hit it
there's no impact to any of the weapons at all, when you kill an enemy they just ragdoll. there's no blood particles or anything like that
i can't wait for the release in 2035

realism is when turning left makes you slide and run into the nearest lamp post
