It is very weird nowdays to find a free game that's actually fun and enjoyable, give it a chance.

One of the few greatest free to play shooters.

Open source, community made plugins/addons, animation support, available for free on their website, I paid for it here because I wanted to, great intuitive hotkeys, it even has layer effects (which is something that apparently Clip Studio doesn't have yet), I work with this in parallel for texturing models in blender. It is a great tool, I find it is sluggish/slow when rendering, specially when moving layers that have effects applied, the image starts to tear down until you apply the transform; maybe this is becuase I still have no dedicated gpu? (using a Ryzen 5 5600g rn, I don't think there should be an issue with graphics tbh)
Overall, great software specially if you can't afford like $50 just to enjoy drawing digitally.

Yes there are many things that can be improved specifically when it comes to rendering. Hopefully this is already seen as the blender of illustration, meaning that just like Blender, it can and will improve over time.
Would love to see UI/UX improvements, either functionally or to make it greater visually, sometimes I get lost on the UI (because I'm dumb) but also because I don't like how KDE apps generally look, feels like an outdated application (thanks to the damn standarized web frameworks, now my brain is completely broken and I totally dig it)

Those are my thoughts overall, might add more later? Maybe. I choose this rather than anything else because it works great on linux as well, one single software I can trust for any system I choose to use, no need to worry about photoshop or CSP not being available for linux.

The game shouldn't have released in it's current state (date 24/01/2024)
To be honest, just play the original game (If you're new), the physics are stable, there's a huge ton of items to customize your character, toribash next isn't ready.

I'll change the review once the game gets some true love from the developers, I honestly do not see that here, even if it is a free game.

Toribash Next has the potential to be bigger than the original game, because it is easier to develop new features for the devs, mods, and well, there's a possibility for a lot of stuff including complex physics elements, complex joint movements and such, this is a very expandable version because it is made in the Unity engine (the original game has its own engine as far as im aware)

I am still waiting to see blood splatters like in the wii versions.

Edit: I got a server exception while waiting for my turn, that's frustrating.

Fun gameplay, boring story, It could have been better specially if it was online multiplayer tbh
I do regret buying it since I only played for a few hours and left it like that but I can't just not recommend it because it has a lot of work behind, the physics and interactivity is just very good and enjoyable

Glad that I have never paid for this game, it had potential
