Perfect blend of "challenging but fair", will have you fully invested.

A review cannot encapsulate the depth and satisfaction of this game. The movement, gun-play, AI bosses and enemies, and weaponry all fit perfectly into an overarching theme, and a great balance of arcade-y elements with stealth tactical elements typically seen in an extraction shooter.

Better with friends, but is completely viable in solo play with buffed perks for solo players (and if you enjoy better challenge).

Edit 8/16/2024: Update is great; the new wild target, map, and weapon changes are all great. The only thing holding back the update from being perfect is the ui, noticing some bugs (such as equipping loadouts not giving you the consumables on the loadout, not surprising for day 1) and some unintuitive ways to perform actions (such de-equipping items from your loadout). Once again, aside from the ui which feels like it was made for console instead of pc, the update is very well done!

The ideal ARPG.

One of the most exciting fps games to release in the past decade, A very arcade-y breath of fresh air. Has modes for both casual and competitive audiences, mechanics may take a bit to learn.

A hat in time is perfect, or at least it was for me. If you are into platformers then I would 150% recommend this to you

Has great sound track, story, visuals, movement/mechanics, its all you would want from a platformer

The conclusion in my opinion was fitting and satisfying

I will surely be buying the DLCs in the near future

Its been about 6 months or more since I've bought the DLCs but I thought I would update this,

I would highly recommend nyakuza metro if you are looking for more, and death wish is pretty fun but the story for seal the deal isn't too good, I think they could have surely done better but they were probably focusing on death wish

Was good enough to keep me hooked for 8 hours straight

While there was a few things with the movement I would like them to change, like the roll and maybe the story length (after the ending I'm not sure if there can even be DLC)

I still think this is a good purchase if its on SALE. I bought it while it was 5$ off and while I think it is a bit expensive for 8 hours of gameplay (for me, for you it may vary), there are still tons of challenges to do as well as achievements.

Final rating: 8/10

PS. I played the game on hard and I think the difficulty was just right, yet to try the other difficulties
