Very much inspired by Resident Evil, and I am loving every bit of it. Graphics are lovely and very nostalgic, reminds me of RE2 and Silent Hill. In my opinion, a game with graphics like these is much creepier and compliments the atmosphere much more than polished and realistic graphics would do. It should cost more than 4 euros, but thank you to the creator(s) for being humble and for making such a great game!

Everything in the game is perfect, the setting, the design, the sound... Amazing.

I had a strong deja vu when I started playing it for the first time, like I had dreams of this exact game. As someone that lives in a post-communist state that's littered with locations like the ones in the game, the world seemed very homely and familiar to me, despite the design being "minimal" so to say.

The sound in general (effects and music) is a masterpiece, very memorable. I can actually hear the sounds when looking at the screenshots as I am typing this review, even though I played the game for only 2-3 hours (I will play more for sure).

Overall, I was speechless when I first started the game and I can't wait for more updates, hopefully soon...

UPDATE:

It's been a while since I started playing this game. So far many new levels and features have been added, thanks to the developer and the active community on Discord! There is a small cult following of this game and I love being a part of it all. It was so far a great journey to watch the developement and I'm looking forward to seeing how version 1.0 will look like compared to today.

childhood classic. unplayable on modern machines on its own but there are plenty of fixes to get it running properly

Fix your servers. Fix loading. Fix ease of use. I have to click 50 times just so I can start a stupid race with my friend, hoping that the game won't disconnect me and send me back to single player, hoping that I will actually be in the lobby with my friend and hoping it won't load another 10 minutes. I can't believe you're re releasing the game for PS5, this is the 3rd time you're releasing the same game, trying to milk more money off it. It's outdated and getting boring. Give us GTA 6 with normal servers and DO NOT follow the steps of GTA Online. Also don't give free games, you just brought a horde of Fortnite kids, flooding servers with cheaters. TOO. MANY. CHEATERS. Literally non-existent anti cheat system. And I don't even want to talk about the kick player function... In every normal game, the vote is initiated, reason of kick is stated, the players vote YES or NO and the player is then kicked or not kicked. Where do you invest your money, Rockstar? Pathetic. I tried, I invested a decent amount of time in the game but nothing is fixed since I got the game a while ago. Singleplayer is great, though.

Great game if you want to live entirely on sausages and beer, be electrocuted, drown in poop, dump poop in front of a car inspection shop, break a shop window for a car parts discount, get hit by your drunk cousin driving a fiat 126, drink beer that tastes like drinking from a wc bowl, drive a drunkard home, find drunkard's money case, get chopped to death with an axe by the drunkard, steal someone's girlfriend, fight a man to get his wristwatch, accidentally shift down when above 5000 rpm making your pistons explode, pee on the coal in the sauna, smoke and take a shower at the same time, bet with a man with pig feet and hands to win a crippling shed and a car filled with wasps, make a dodgy alcoholic beverage and sell it, hit a rally car head on when driving on a saturday or sunday and go back home just to see it on fire. overall 10/10 authentic Finnish experience
