Wasn't entirely into it.. until I was. Once the hooks were in, I was lost in the game.

- Incredible graphics (And not just great meshes and textures, I mean really detailed, thoughtful environments, characters & objects on the playfield)
- Best voice acting I've seen in a game, better than most animated films even, they spared no expense here.
- Loads of content, I'm nearly 60 hour deep and still happily waltzing through the first act. Tried some other characters, builds.
- As for builds, very low cost to completely respec a character. You can lose literally HOURS just fine tuning your composition.

I haven't really cared for these turn based style RPG/Strategy games in the past, and honestly, during my first 5 to 10 hours of the game.. I was worried that I'd been led on, but again, once you spend enough time, and pull off clever plays, it flips a switch. You can be an incredibly cruel tactician in this game.. and that satisfying feeling of a "Plan coming together" isn't going to get old.

Only complaint, it runs like an absolute DOG on the steam deck, poor performance mixed with using the game through a controller - this game really shouldn't be in a "Great on Deck" category, because in my experience it is not.

If you don't mind taking it to a system which can meet its needs (And yeah, I gotta say as beautiful as the game is, I'm surprised by its high system requirements) then you might not be able to put this down.

I can see this being one of the games that never gets uninstalled. I'll play stuff in-between, but I'll always keep coming back and spending a few hour on this.

Also, runs great on Linux. No ♥♥♥♥♥♥ in app purchases & you're supporting a developer who actually has an interest in timely patches and updates, full of fixes and improvements that they've derived from player feedback.. EA, Actiblizz, Bethesda. PAY ATTENTION.
