7/10 but empty..
This is the only MMORPG you gonna yelled by karen in global chat just because you joke about their characters surname.

here is little story..
back in the day 2021, when Suez Canal blocked by one of the ship of Evergreen company, i was playing ESO late night and after finishing some errands/dailies there were 2 player flooding General zone chat with chit chat of how their day went by, like literally they were doing catch-up of their day in ZONE CHAT, one of them was like called something like "**** Evergreen" (i dont remember first name but it was unis3x, like summer or destiny etc.). they keep talking at zone chat atleast half an hour like its their personal whatsapp group. after seeing that players surname, since every single person on planet who watch tv or be on internet for 15 min was aware of the ship situation. and we been reading their personal life last 30 minutes i had to get involved with a joke and go ahead only said "seems like we have another Evergreen Blockage here in chat." holy elder scrolls i wish i should have shut my mouth.. all the sudden, evergreen person unleash the rage out of nowhere, (quick heads up i didnt realise that player was "she"), first she called me sexist i really dont know why ? just because i guess, and then abuser because i got involved their conversation in GLOBAL CHAT ?? then she called me toxic masculen (my character's name was Caramel idk how its toxic or masculen lol) and she finished calling me potaintial rapist. with shock, i said "whole game was reading your personal chat last 30min this is zone chat go talk in whisper" then suddenly they didnt block me, they didnt ignore me but they start acting i dont exist and keep talking in zone chat like nothing happened. at that point i was sooo shocked literally irl stunned how they acted like that. some other person join and back up me but they somewhat carry on chatting without giving zero f about everyone else. this was one of the most unforgetable moments in video games i been playing last 19 years. after that i give up on MM part of MMO and treat this game as big open world singleplayer Elder Scrolls game, i actively avoid social part of an MMO unless i must, only type stuff like lfg, lfm and come here help with this event etc.


that interaction made me suddenly realise this game was next level of sims, The Elder Scrolls online's community are build on wine moms, cat moms, single moms, over all MOMS and little bit of retirement house bingo and gambling enjoyer elders. since zenimax know this, game catered towards them. real life shop build on their wallet, flooded with cats dogs and hair styles, house furniture and of course good old gambling addiction loot boxes. they even add Card game with recent xpack, you dont even have to move your character anymore!


if you treat ESO as Single player RPG there is pretty decent content for you to enjoy. but as a MMO in 2022 its safe to say its no where near an mmo experience with todays standards, graphics are dated, addon support terrible, even game engine limiting more than WoW's spagetti code engine. at this point it would be much better if bethesda just take this in maintaince mode and make some UE5 mmo as ESO 2, don't get me wrong game desing so refreshing surveys, treasure maps, pickpocketing, lock picking, crafting with motifs alchemy, enchanting, ressing with soulstones all of those are unique and awesome desings even companion was cool addition to the game but issue here game needs "remaster", or it will die slowly its already lost so many player base, at this point obsessed ones are playing regularly and people like me jumps in and jumps out from event to event.

"diffuclty" do not exist, yes there is "diffuclt" content called veteran trials, but it just boils down to group coordination than a classic MMO experience "build your character's power to conquerer the hardest content" meta. once you "golden" your gear, thats it! your character most powerfull it can be, and if you wanna do min max you need to do not even PVE archeology collecting parts for single unique equipped item.

if you want comparison here is quick cheat sheet of equivalent of wow's content:
-Trials = Raids
-Normal Trials = LFG level Raids
-Veteran Trials = Normal level Raids
-Eso Dungeons = WoW's old xpack dungeons you can solo for loot
-Eso's Veteran Dungeons = Current Xpack but normal dungeons that you still solo late of xpacs life time
-there is something called Maelstorm arenas, there are no equivalent of this in WoW but you can imagine Wave based Torghast with Weapon reward at the end if you can finish it.

so if you want competition ESO is not your place, you are in Drunk Karen Territory, who likes cats and wants to roleplay as witch/mistress/princess in video game and yells in discord while leading the raid/trials when you f up.

This game is so cozy and casual other than "trial progression" it boils down to check list completion simulation.
every expansion back has its own zone and own set of same daily quests.
you go collect resources,
craft some gear to donate
kill world bosses (can be soloed easily not really "boss")
finish some solo dungeons (called delves)
and some open world event like rifts (couple wave of trash enemies then a boss or rare depends on how good you perform clearing trash).

i gotta admit, PVP is totally diffrent experince, you run around with group like hive if you fall behind you are getting picked up by single OP guy and even with group there is the times out of no where a sweaty boi dives in 15 enemy players and wipes almost all of the squad with single "nuke" then dies with sweet sweet loot in their bag, rise and repeat. if there is 10 players 9 of them are pve moms who got bored of singleplayer game and wants to socialse in fantasy world, and the 1 is the guy who only plays PVP and preys on everyone they see. because of that pvp isnt really populated other than events.

at the end.
Just like every other Bethesda game this one also inventory management nightmare, their subscription service at this point mandatory. just like in Fallout76 solves this artificially constructed issue, to get streamlined smooth experience not only you must sub but also buy mobile vendor npc's to not waste resources, gold, or even access pay walled dungeons. expensive as f. its sad to see game with great potantial and great background story setting ends up like this.

this game gives me Battlefield 3 vibes, guns are clunky invasion(groundwar) vehicles feels just like BF3 did. 9/10 even sounds are familiar *tock* *tock* *tock* *clinkk* *tock* *tock* *tock*

since its beta here is feedback:

-Draw distance: might be issue for Ground War/invasion invisible killstreak boxes and appear disappearing enemies are thing right now,(old) warzone had this same issue too.

-Enemy visiblity: well here is the thing either they should buff the amount of ammo we carry so we can shoot everthing it moves and figure out later if its enemy or not, Or game needs Color coded indicators not the dots top of the player or name tag but something else, idk might be bands or highlight around the enemy character because right now you cannot "look first shoot later" you gotta go han solo way "shoot first ask later".

Crashes: might be memory leak, i am not experienced person about this but its consistent, every 2-3 ground war match or while you are alt+tabbed on loading, or even loadout screen while loading crashes the game. seems like memory related i.

oh and there is one single bug makes game unplayable is... when burst fire icon underlined gun fires single, and when single icon underlined gun fires brust/auto. it SHOULD BE OTHERWAY 1/0 mentality, always show current active setting not "whats gonna happen when you press it" icon. (ill check which weapon does this later) i cannot believe they done this!! JK but please fix UI and death cam flicker.

performance optimisation required since its early access its no big deal at this point no major issues i encounter yet,few small bugs and hickups, other than that even though they are totally different genre, Farthest Frontier's Atmosphere accomplish what Age of empires 2 achieve back in the day.
to summarise what this game is pretty easy, its pretty much "what if AOE 2 wasn't RTS but colony building sim".
with couple QoL updates and bug fixes and it has too much potantial to become great fun time sink.

this was the game i drop out form COD series, it took 9 years to heal what this game caused, thanks to Warzone, and now with MWII 2022 i am back in! Don't but Ghosts wait for Microsoft's Gamepass. not worth single penny, (Maybe 5 cents for Campaign.. Maybe)

only thing that close to old mighty Zoo Tycoon's is the name. this game trash. it feels like one of the old PSP games. Main menu floaty asf, the back key is "C" instead of universally by whole PC community used ESC. to change resolution game wants asks you to restart, except it does not "re"start just closes the game lol. you guess the rest of the mess and this was only 3 min in review.

i finish this game thinking i am playing demo from next fest.. i am glad i finish this game by accident without realising its a game i bought and forgot about it lol. its great, old pop culture refences was great even some levels felt like old atari arcade machine games, overall pretty fun experience for its price. movement was solid, there was no bugs, i think even though i got the achievement "the end" i might not finished fully yet there is tons other achievements i have to work on it so yeah replayability is there, gotta check later.

i haven't experience story mode other than 1 hour long intro, so my review about Red Dead Online, which is one of the most unbelievably greedy currency mechanics implemented by rockstar in their any game.
full game price + paid battlepass + real life currency to buy pretty much everything, and to earn those premium currencies you need to buy role contract, yep you guessed it right, contracts also sell for premium currency.

its infinite time wasting loop to force you spend money on "game money". that time waste doesn't end there though whole game is "rEaLiStic" it straight up becomes job to do keep eye on at all those micromanagement, you need to keep eye on your food, stamina, tiredness, weight, horse stamina, horse food, horse care, then you spend more tax on your horse, camp, stable etc etc it keeps getting on and on and on.

its actually feels like constant tidying rather than fun gameplay.

"you want to fast travel ? how about spend 7 dollars where you had to gather it by hunting 10 animals back and forth to just go places."

Hold J to see how many things you cant buy because you didn't waste grinding in the game yet, but wait you can buy with real money instead!!!! YAY!!!!

tax over tax its actually more taxiting from so called "realism" i doubt anyone back in wild west had bank accounts where $$$ automaticly taken from their account while you out in wild hunting.

moving one place to another on "1 horse power" vehicle gets old pretty fast.

And matchmaking almost par with GTA V where you spend most of your time on loading, connecting or trying to join a match than actually playing the game, it is still worst experience you have from a online game. rock star servers are straight up crime.

Whole k/m control setting are so unfamiliar i have no idea why they gone that way instead of usual ones like we actually memorise over the years.

to slow down your horse you need to hold CTRL ???? like what happened to holding "S" like every other game where to use "vehicles"

NPC interactions instead of window you hold right click and hope for another key set to appear while actively trying to avoid aiming them at the face.

overall maybe story mode is great, as they all those game jurnos and critics says but at the end, i am not a guy who enjoys "cinematic gameplay" that's being said GTA V's story was soo good i did finish it in one go, unlike Red Dead Redemption 2 where i struggle to keep going on over 15 minutes.

maybe to casual "console gamers™" audience this might be perfect game but after all these years "go there do that, then go there catch that, go there deliver that" isn't groundbreaking as they say.

but hey atleast we got growing and shrinking horse balls. YAY!!

Update: it's getting worse and worse. now after reinstalling the game, steam doesnt recognise cloud sync and gets in infinite loop game doesnt even start now.... disabling or enabling sync has no effect either

i got Nvidia RTX 3070, 32GB Ram and for Cpu 11th gen i5 11600, playing at 1440p 144hz. i am giving those numbers just to show how badly optimised this game is. game is so broken at this point it is straight up scam and should be illegal to sell.

Gold Edition simply shiny way to say Standart edition lol, you only have 1 Zombies map with it, to experience more stuff you need to get "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Digital Pro Edition" or buy Season pass individually which costs much more than buying digital pro. after all these years game expansive as golden bidet. and worst thing is game's worth is actually worse than a roll of golden toilet papper. you will waste less if you buy golden toilet papper, you can actually experience it instead of this unplayable abandoneware.

i bought this game after all these years just to experience zombies mod, funny enough it is unplayable to me, no matter what i tried ,i got freeze, blackscreen and crash withing 40 seconds and 2 minute mark. i never able to get to second round without crashing. Campaign seems working, i assume multiplayer will crash too (need to tests it first)

Do not buy it. not even with %80 discount, instead go for Infinite Warfare instead, never had crashes with that one and you can experince this "future war" setting there.

Unlike Advanced Warfare this one works and playable,
Actually pretty fun and feels refreshing. i was busy with real life issues when this one released never got to experience its full potential yet i bought just for zombies mode, it's great, and i love sciency atmosphere game has multiplayer was also fun(unfortunately only tdm slightly populated at the moment) . although microtransactions still ruining whole experience. it is saddening to realise how Call of duty could have been perfect without all that predatory pricing and chopping down whole game to dlcs.
