I think, for a completely free experience that doesn't take up much space, it's harmlessly diverting. The reviews are accurate- it's very limited, and within 10 or 15 minutes, you've done all there is to do. I doubt I'll play it again, but I don't feel cheated by the experience. I think it's perfectly worth 10-20 minutes of my time to have played.

The hero builder is fun all by itself. The game looks fairly good, the heroes look amazing, and playing for free seems like something that's at least marginally doable, without spending cash on creds. I've only fiddled with it a bit though- we'll see if it holds up over more than the tutorial play.

This is lovely, simple, delightful- and far far far too short. I spent less than an hour. I presume it's a prelude to...something? Worth the tantalizing taste, certainly. If you enjoy games like The Room, you'll enjoy this little game.

Fun little time-waster, though I wouldn't recommend getting sucked in to spending on the offered "micro-purchases". For the most part, you don't really need them to enjoy the game.

After playing both games for some significant hours, I had to come back to this to say, "Survive On Raft" is in fact, NOT a *complete* rip-off of the original, though it's beyond clear that it's perhaps more "inspired by" the original than is 100% ethical. There are very definite differences between the two games, and having bought one did not stop me from buying the other, My impression of Survive On is, it seems like someone played Raft in its infancy, loved it, and decided to (perhaps over-enthusiastically,) make their own version, from memory. While I'm leaving my thumbs down, I'm inclined to temper it a bit. If you want one of these games, buy the original first. Later, if you want a very similar, (but not identical) experience, maybe pick up Survive On later, when it's on sale. The real shame to my thinking is, the creator of this game obviously have some skills. They really should make some effort to distance their game from the original, rather than capitalizing on people who mistake their game for the original Raft.

If you enjoy the Fallout universe, you are very likely to enjoy this game- with some caveats. There's some issues with the story that some people really strongly object to. If you let it, the story will carry you through it on some pretty hard rails, telling you *their* story, instead of letting you, to any degree, create your own. That said, you absolutely CAN completely IGNORE the story rails, and just shrug them off whenever they come up. There are also mods available, in both the workshop and the Nexus, (i don't recommend the Creation Club,) which disassemble the hard rails, so you can get on with your bad fallout self, undistracted by silly "But Mah Behbee!" pseudo-emotional crap. There ARE some very GOOD stories told here, of which you can partake, without those same saccharine, fake-heartstrings elements, and I highly recommend those. The Brotherhood of Steel is not at it's best in FO4, but that's part of the story. In general, if you're willing to make the game your own, and ignore the bits you don't care for, then FO4 is a winner. I suppose that can be said of a lot of Bethesda's games. XD

A dice-rolling, find-your-own-adventure in the classic style, and a total winner, for my 2 bucks! Grab one for yourself, and one for a friend!

The play is simple, the format elegant, the story as delightful as any choose-your-own-adventure could hope to be. I definitely recommend it for anyone with a love for classic roleplaying games!

A gripping, and gorgeous animated epic that sweeps you up emotionally. I absolutely recommend this- but you MUST play Banner Saga 1 first, otherwise it'd be like starting GoT in the middle of season 3. The story will be lost on you.

The second installment expands upon the rules in a few ways, but the game remains fundamentally the same, which is absolutely to it's credit. If they'd tried to make it into a whole new game, they'd have lost their audience completely. There is a story being told, as the name implies. It's a saga. And it is EPIC.

Beautifully rendered, grippingly written, with mechanics simple enough to grasp in minutes, but with an incredible depth that makes careful strategy a must. The battles are challenging, but the text elements of the game even more so. I have seldom been so moved by a game or its characters. This is a lovingly painted Oregon Trail, but with Vikings, magic, and something like... battle chess? It's glorious. If you don't play all three, you are missing out. Footnote though: this is NOT a game for anyone only interested in fast-paced action, sandboxes, or murder-hobo'ing.

It's hard to explain this game. It's easier to just say, it's good. SO. DAMNED. GOOD.
Textual and textural, visual and verbal. It is not a fast-paced action thriller, but it will have you cramping your hands on your controls and clenching your teeth at some moments, terrified of the darkness, worried about your choices and your actions. If you don't like to read, and your primary concern is with combat mechanics and playing for The Win, then this game might not be for you. If you LOVE to read, enjoy abstract humor and horror, and have a vivid imagination, then I highly, HIGHLY recommend it. Also, Go play Fallen London. It will help this all make sense.
