I haven't completed the game, though it seems to be simple, but well-thought-out survival/resource game. That said, the atmosphere is fantastic. The movement of the light across the mountains at dawn and dusk is absolutely stunning, much as it truly is in such a place. There are mysteries, not so much puzzles, and thus far, it's been strongly player v environment in very literal ways. The desert does not feel like a friend. It's a beautiful, constant threat. I don't recommend it for anyone who requires action, or companionship. Otherwise... definitely a must-play!

I had really been looking forward to playing this game- I guess that's what I get for letting trailers get me hyped. Not 5 minutes in, and I'm finding the graphics ugly, the control scheme awkward, the voice acting questionable, and the speech animations painfully bad and impossible to ignore. It presents as a plot-heavy RPG, but offers only run and run faster as movement options. If you're in a shop and want to speak to someone on the other side of the room, you have to break into a full jog. It's a petty detail, but a telling one. The atmosphere feels very much like a poor attempt to mimic Dishonored. I'm quite disappointed, and might be looking into a refund. I pointedly do not recommend this game.

This seems to have potential, but boy they are not kidding when they say it's pre-alpha! I look forward to seeing this progress, as at the moment, there is very little a player can actually do.

This game is NOT for everyone, or almost anyone, really. It's bleak and a bit buggy, with frustrating mechanics, a cryptic story, and a completely nihilistic, and unavoidable ending. That said, as a rabid gamer, I don't feelthe three bucks I spent on it were completely wasted. It's got some really interesting ideas, it's just a shame the game seems more intent on wasting the player's time than providing even the smallest sense of reward or fulfillment.

A bit like solo Carcassonne on steroids. This game manages to be charming, simple, complex, and strategic all at once. Far more addictive than I expected, once you begin to understand some of the more elaborate gameplay. I recommend it especially to players who enjoy jigsaw puzzles, and slow, careful, deliberate play. Also, the ever-changing landscapes, and the unexpected wildlife are major bonuses!

I loved this game. I hated this game. I wanted to punch my own character. I wanted to punch my screen. I played it all in one sitting. And I'll probably play it again tomorrow. Honestly, if you have high critical standards, I'd probably give this game a miss. It's got issues. A LOT of issues. Plot holes, railroading, inconsistency. Never the less, it manages to still be genuinely engaging. All the while I was cursing the mechanics, I was mad not at being cheated by the game, but rather, at how much *better* the game could easily be with relatively small changes. Beautiful graphics, nifty UI, interesting Uber/Lyft sort of mechanics that would have been a fun little game even without an awkward and sometimes infuriating "plot". In the end, I had a good time, and I got the game on sale. It was worth the 6 bucks I paid for it, at least. I recommend it, but only to the forgiving.

Way cooler than lego. Also, it goes "Bloop!" Legos don't go "Bloop!"
Seriously though. This isn't exactly a "game", per se, it's more an exploratory toy. The only challenge is learning how to achieve what you want to achieve. The only objective is actually achieving it. Well, that, and enjoying yourself, and the satisfying "Bloops!"

Interesting game. Beautiful scenery, and deceptively simple mechanics. There are only four main mechanics in the game, that interact with one another in various ways: Run fast, jump high, give life, take life. It's a bit frustrating at times, but overall, quite fun to play!

This game is brilliant, mad, complicated, and hard. It's also addictive as hell.
