I remember when griefing involved kids on MK2 Oppressors bombing your cargo, but now they'll just straight up mess up your account data with a paid mod menu. As of the Los Santons Mercenaries DLC, also includes FOMO. Very fun and engaging.

Atrocious community, lazy and incompetent developers.
Every single update they've pushed out in the last 5 years have been a mess.
I proudly whaled for this game since it was in Beta thinking "it'll get better soon" and it did, until a year or two after it finally released; then it was all downhill. The game has so obviously degraded into black hole of a timesink, worse than it has ever been before after the introduction of "liches."
Cool concepts and poor executions litter the game and it's such a shame they failed to capitalize on them.
