it's a goofy ass game, buggy as ♥♥♥♥ and barely runs sometimes even on top notch specs

but its goofiness is to be appreciated

i felt the game was somewhat saved by its strong story and ending, and how every single time you try to alter your choices, the outcome is still within the same song and tune

however, i do need to say this game's a buggy mess, with repetitive side quests and almost no sense of reward. i do miss hunting animals to craft upgrades instead of having to solve puzzles for children to unlock my perks.

the good:
everyone is here! the VAs did a fantastic job, game feels like a postal game, gunplay is still there, all the sounds and all of the old stuff still checks out. it's a job well done.
still has that postal feel to it
fun game, with 5 days of what i think is pretty memorable content

the bad:
buggy, still. though, not to the point where the game is unplayable
could probably still be optimized better

personal issue with it, is that i would like to see more. although, that is likely to not be possible due to the fact this is a video game and not a discord call where everyone can engage in degenerate activities

overall, if you're a fan of the series, this is a good purchase, and i feel like you'll have fun with it.

truthfully, i'm torn on whether to recommend the game or not

while i haven't played since the town, i can tell you the inn, asylum and farmhouse levels are borderline impossible to complete legitimately without using some kind of exploit, especially the inn
reason being, the way you can combat the demon actively is pretty much ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ useless.

although, you can definitely have some fun with the game with your friends. it's a good idea to play this if you're bored with your mates.

another reason i'm torn is the fact that the game's discord is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ garbage. so much as talk about a different game and you're breaking a rule. there's also a bunch of people that make the atmosphere very mob mentality-esque and kiss-ass-y.
it's just a bit of a side detail, as it doesn't have anything to do with the game. but for 4 euro and the fact it's being updated for free, i'd say it's worth it, and i myself have also supported the devs by making in-game purchases.

tl;dr, decide for yourself. it's a fun experience.
