Took a minute to get in the swing of things. Now that I've played a bit and learned how to navigate combat and this world, I'm having a lot of fun with this game. I'm enjoying running around with my spooky companions, collecting clues, solving mysteries, smacking down baddies, and asserting my sins to the general population.

Some elements remind me of Black Book. Deck-building not being the focus, but combat feels extremely similar imo, along with a lot of chatting and reading through bits of information to catch lore and progress the story.

Good game, I'm excited to continue this tale as it unfolds.

Oh, the genuine sadness I feel in having completed this game. If you like cozy and you like anything management, just drop the couple bucks and play this game. It's worth it. Promise.

The good:
- Adorable & cozy.
- Starts simply, adding new elements as you progress.
- Scenarios are different and entertaining (and cute. There's a whole scenario about attracting cats. C'mon now.)
- Easy to get in the swing of, but still requires some problem-solving.
- You really can pet *all* the cats.

The bad:
- Saying goodbye at the end 😢

I would 100% play more of this were new scenarios to be added. I hope there is more like this in store for the future. ❤️

For the colony-builder junkie, this game is amazing. The tech tree is well thought out, but not overly complicated. Management of citizens has just enough depth. Yeah, I love city/colony building, but I don't love managing each of the 500 citizen's minute actions. That just ain't me. I also enjoy that the game doesn't include wars or military whatsoever. All of the pressure of this game is growth, improvement, expansion, wealth, and making sure that the masses don't suddenly drop dead due to neglectful leadership... Or forgetting to build your first well until it's far too late.

As an added bonus, this game gets updated regularly, and every update has been great. I'm very excited to how this game will develop and progress!

Go in blind. 20/10.

This game is fantastic. I binged the heck out of it, on a mission to get all of the endings. I really enjoyed the world, getting to know all of the characters, and unraveling the mystery! Listen to the other reviews! Go in blind! Don't look anything up! It's worth it! I hope there will be more like this!

I LOVE this game. As far as strategy games are concerned, I've played very little. This was a bit of a learning experience for me, but WORTH the pain of losing colony after colony to hordes of hungry zombies. There may be nothing more satisfying than the pop of gunfire as your troops clean sweep the map, or more painful than losing all of your golden soldiers to spitters in an instant.

While tense and stressful at times, this game has proven to be incredibly fun.

If you're into zombies & strategy/building games, I seriously reccomend playing this.
