First off i have to say that i refunded the game after only a hour. Little bit later i decided to give it a last try and damn, i was suprised on how solid it actually is.

Obviously it has all the common early access issues like the performance being not optimal, animations looking clunky and of course a few bugs, tho i haven't experienced a game breaking one yet.

On the other side Bellwright feels like Medieval Dynasty just more focused on combat, arms and armour. (The combat could obviously be improved but it's not a big issue as of now) It has the same slow but relaxing progress which i personally really enjoy. The villager management is also satisfying and very similar to games like Rimworld or Going Medieval. The world itself is huge with a few villages here and there and certainly some bandit camps/outposts. To be fair the game is more of a running simulator as of now but hopefully that's going to change soon when they add horses.

I am really enjoying the game and i feel like most people which liked Medieval Dynasty or similar games will like it aswell, tho i wouldn't recommend it for everyone.

In the end it's your decision, either you buy it and take the risk of a possible abandoned game and "lose" your money or you simply don't buy it and check back in a year or so.

I'm really suprised that im saying this but the game is not good. It misses the charm which the original TT had, i just want to build one massive block with 4 wheels and 50 cannons on top. Its simple yet not possible in TTW. Also the game itself gets boring pretty quick when you realise that the grind is only about farming ressources.

I wish they wouldn't have done a reboot, somehow upgrading TT's engine and working fully on the orginal would have been a better idea.

Not recommended, buy the first game.

Looking back at 2020 this game in it's EA was pretty funky with berries being insanely broken and duplicating items from chests. It's 2023 now and this game has grown massively, most of the bugs have been fixed and a LOT of new features have been added to the point of us finally getting coop which has been requested since day 1 of EA. The Devs are working very close with the community and actually deliver what they promise. Would absolutely recommend this game to every city builder - survival game lover.

For someone who played duels most of the time, the game is unplayable. A few months ago there only used to be a few cheaters. Now it's a cheaters den. You'll be suprised how many legit players there is now. (yea, none)

Tornbanner is not even a AAA studio but acting like one, ignoring their community to the point of banning people which only want the game to suceed. The game could be so good but as with most good games, it's slowly dying cause of corporate greed.

The best way of fighting this dilemma of a game is to just leave a negative review and remind TB that no one wants the game to be like this.
