Early Access Review
First off i have to say that i refunded the game after only a hour. Little bit later i decided to give it a last try and damn, i was suprised on how solid it actually is.

Obviously it has all the common early access issues like the performance being not optimal, animations looking clunky and of course a few bugs, tho i haven't experienced a game breaking one yet.

On the other side Bellwright feels like Medieval Dynasty just more focused on combat, arms and armour. (The combat could obviously be improved but it's not a big issue as of now) It has the same slow but relaxing progress which i personally really enjoy. The villager management is also satisfying and very similar to games like Rimworld or Going Medieval. The world itself is huge with a few villages here and there and certainly some bandit camps/outposts. To be fair the game is more of a running simulator as of now but hopefully that's going to change soon when they add horses.

I am really enjoying the game and i feel like most people which liked Medieval Dynasty or similar games will like it aswell, tho i wouldn't recommend it for everyone.

In the end it's your decision, either you buy it and take the risk of a possible abandoned game and "lose" your money or you simply don't buy it and check back in a year or so.

That's fair.

There is some "castles" and prisons but i don't think that you can besiege them. You can currently only liberate towns by just murdering the brigands in it. Tho you have to fend of some raids after.

Ah yes 2 cents from the peanut gallery. Literally came here to say nothing, clown.

I have a legit question, do you only fight bandits? Is there castle sieges or town sieges or anything? Just wondering if the combat section is fleshed out cause Im not really about that grind to walk a million miles to collect some flowers.
