Originally Unravel wasn't available via Steam, so I had to purchase it via EA Origin store, I completed the game and all the various challenges/achievements with that version, hence why my play hours on Steam is quite low.

Unravel is a very simple game, just a side scroller in many ways and each map is really just a series of puzzles and challenges that the player solves using the yarn, pulling on objects, or using the yarn to swing around. It's a very relaxing experience as you assess and solve each puzzle.

The visuals are excellent, and each of the maps is beautiful to look at, including the home where you start each chapter of the story, with lots of small details with critters, leaves, etc making the world seem alive. The music is also excellent and fits perfectly with the relaxing atmosphere of the game.

I wouldn't say any of the puzzles/challenges/achievements are difficult to complete, but I feel that is part of what makes the game fun. Unravel isn't pushing you hard to solve complex puzzles and allows you to relax and work through each map at your own pace, enjoying the visuals, story, and music. Most of the time I love games that push me, challenge me, and make me work hard to "win", but sometimes it's nice to fire up a game like Unravel and just relax.

I would highly recommend Unravel to anyone looking for a relaxed/chill game experience.

Updating my review of this game, and it's still a NO on recommending this game to anyone, the developer has abandoned the game, and it's still full of game-breaking bugs that will never be fixed. It doesn't matter how much they tried to fix bugs, the fact is this is an incomplete game, a mess of bugs, and not worth paying money for.

I wanted to like this game, it has an interesting take on the building/tycoon/management genre, but after just a short play I'm already encountering way too many bugs. The devs are already busy releasing DLC despite the fact the base game has a ton of bugs in it, and even though they claim bug fixing and DLC are two separate teams, I'd suggest they'd be better off having all their resources on bug fixing before they bother with any DLC's. What is the point in adding more content to the game if half of it is broken and unplayable? This game has so many bugs you'd swear it was still in Early Access. I would suggest anyone thinking of buying this game, don't, it's a waste of money and the bugs will never be fixed.

I have 216 hours in this game at the time I'm writing this review, but please note I owned this game for a number of years before it was made available via steam. My original copy purchased directly from ISI, and the number of hours I’ve spent in this game is at least triple what you see in steam.

The base game itself doesn't contain much to excite, it’s just a few small basic racing categories with cars and tracks, but rFactor is a game made with modding in mind. There are an absolute ton of mods available for this game, I couldn't even begin to list all the content that's available for rFactor. What ISI have provided in the basic package is the realistic driving physics, the AI, the underlying game/engine. Once you get that base game it’s time to start downloading mods:

- Think of a circuit anywhere in the world, and you can probably find it in rFactor.
- Think of racing car(s) from a real-world racing category and you can probably find it in rFactor.
- Think of a motorsport category you'd like to race in a game, it’s probably available in rFactor. F1, F2, F3, Indy, Supercars, Endurance with LMP1/LMP2/GT1/GT2, GT3, Stockcar/Nascar, Hill Climb, there simply isn't enough room to list all the content that can be downloaded and played in rFactor.
- Think of an era of motorsport such as the 30's, 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, 00's, 10's, you will find it in rFactor. F1 alone has a significant amount of the 80's, 90', and 00's covered. The same is true of many other categories such as Touring Cars/Supercars Australia with numerous seasons available.

It's important to realise this game was released way back in 2005, but in spite of its age the graphics hold up extremely well. Sound is also good, although it can vary from mod to mod, but having played around with many of the available mods I can say that overall, they are excellent in quality. Some mods are so good you'd never know they were fan made; the level of quality is as good as any professional developer.

You can choose to race single player vs AI, or you can get in to multiplayer racing. As you'd expect with any good sim it has extensive support for wheels/pedals, multiple monitors, and head tracking.

I've tried a few of the other games out there that claim to be simulators, I won't list them here, but apart from iRacing none of them gave me the same level of realism I felt with rFactor. In terms of the sheer number of circuits and motorsport categories available in rFactor it beats everything else on the market, with the one exception being rFactor 2.

If you prefer a more arcade, less serious, style of racing game then rFactor may not be the game for you. For anyone looking for a realistic racing experience, against people that won’t smash half the field out at the first corner, where clean racing is encouraged and often required, I would definitely recommend this game to anyone who enjoys quality sim racing.

When I initially bought Hitman Absolution I must admit I was excited about it, but didn't play for a few years as I was busy in other games. When I finally came back to it, I loved it and very glad I did come back.

Absolution tends to get bad reviews as it broke away from the style of earlier games in the Hitman series. This was mostly due to the fact many of its maps are very linear in their design, and there is really only one path through it to the end point. The previous and future games in the series are much more open ended with many paths you can take to reach your objective. In spite of this, it does have some maps that are more open ended with a few different ways you can approach them. There is a nice variety of locations it takes you to, and for what they are there is nothing really wrong with these maps apart from them being linear. The graphics/visuals, sound, gameplay, and overall atmosphere are very well done.

Absolution also put much greater emphasis on story than previous and future Hitman games, and to be honest the story is rather cheesy and lame in many ways. I felt many times like there was bad language and T&A just for the sake of it, where it didn't really add anything to the story/scene, however it still works as a motivation for the hits you do. For me in a game like Hitman story isn't really all that important anyway, I just enjoy exploring the maps and working through the challenges. For me story is not a major negative, its still worth following as you complete each map.

The save system is probably for me the most annoying feature in this game. You can only save at designated save points within the map, and worse still, if you reload from that point any progress made on the map (NPC's you've subdued) is all lost and the map is back to how it was when you first started it. In other words the save system is completely useless, it became obvious very early on that I was better off not using the save points so if I did stuff up I could just redo the map from the start. Time consuming, yes, but still better than reloading halfway through a map with every NPC revived and reset back to their start locations too. The save system is a definite negative for Hitman Absolution.

At this point you might be starting to wonder why I'm still recommending this game given the negatives I've listed above, but trust me, Hitman Absolution is still an excellent game.

The Challenge system is excellent. For each map there are challenges you can complete that involve killing your targets, or achieve other objectives in a certain way. For example, you can kill your target with a fiber wire to straggle them, you could replay the same map and kill the target using an explosive device instead, or with an axe, and many other ways. This system gives each map a ton or replay-ability, so although there is only one path to walk/run through the map, there are many ways to kill your target(s).

As good as the challenges are, I do feel like this is something many players miss in this game, focusing too much on the cheesy story while neglecting to try out the different challenges and get the most out of each map. In spite of all the negatives I've listed, including the terrible save system, when you do finally get through the map, and tick off each challenge (especially on the highest difficult, silent assassin, suit only) there is a real sense of achievement, working your way through a map without a single stuff up along the way is very satisfying.

So for me, Hitman Absolution is a very worthwhile game to buy in the Hitman series, and I'd recommend it to anyone who has the patience for stealth games. I recommend you take the time to try out the challenges, and although the maps are linear, I'd still recommend you explore them as much as possible as there are plenty of useful items scattered around each map.

Don't waste your money on this crappy game. The game starts with a tutorial to show you the basics, however that tutorial is clearly either broken, or so tediously boring it’s not worth doing. I found the various plants to gather to keep myself going, I was then given a goal to get to a map marker, it was 8 hours away, and after 3 hours of endlessly walking towards that marker it remains 8 hours away. All I've seen is endless amounts of the same terrain over and over again, the planet is boring and repetitive. I fail to see any challenge in endlessly holding down the W key and running, this seems to be a game made for casual gamers that are looking for simplistic gameplay, without any difficult challenges. The creatures on the planet look rather silly, not well designed at all, not remotely scary, or interesting to look at, and again they are just repeated endlessly over and over again as you run around.

I cannot honestly recommend this game to anyone who’s looking for a game that provides a challenge, or an interesting world to explore. If you're looking for an open world survival game, you'd be better off getting Subnautica with a world that has been hand crafted by its developers rather than procedurally generated, or if you're more in to the base building/zombie theme try 7 Days to Die.

People actually rate this garbage as a great game???

Baffled as to how anyone could enjoy this arcade rubbish:

- Auto aim assist, with no way to turn it off.
- Poorly though out control systems.

It utterly fails to provide any great experiences, it’s just another failed Star Wars game, great movie, piss poor games. I can only assume it’s been made this way so children can play it. I would love to get a well-made Star Wars game that covers all the well-known characters from the movies, but with a story crafted specifically for the game, similar to what's been done with the Batman games of recent times.

Let me play with all the known characters, let me drive all the known vehicles (ships, speeders, etc), include all the known planets/systems and the locations on those planets, let me use all the known weapons (blaster, both Jedi and Sith lightsaber’s, etc), include all the known races and creatures, but craft a story to suit gaming. If you want it to be playable by younger people add some genuine levels of difficulty so older people can still get a challenge. Don't do crappy console ports for PC, let me use my mouse and keyboard so I can aim, I don't want a game that does it all for me.

I don't understand why its so difficult to provide all this in a game, and not make it so dumbed down a 3 year old could play on the hardest difficulty.

I want a good Star Wars game, but this isn't it. I would not ever recommend this game to anyone.

I must admit I purchased Subnautica on a whim because I was searching for something completely new to play, wasn't convinced by the graphics or the style of game, but I am SO glad I bought Subnautica. This has easily been one of the best games I've played in a long time.

- There is no map to follow
- No way points showing you where to go
- No hand holding telling you go here do this, go there do that
- No weapons beyond a simple knife and one gun (stun only)
- In a way even the story has to be found as you explore

Many people might see the above points as con's, for me they are definitely pro's. If like me you're tired of games that insist on holding your hand the entire time then try Subnautica, it sets you free to explore on your own terms. I wouldn't personally describe this game as horror, or even necessarily as a survival game either, to me its a game of discovery, exploration, and suspense. It invites you to simply dive in and find out what's there.

Some people are confused about what they're supposed to do in this game because the game isn't constantly prompting you with where you need to go, or what you need to do to progress. To me the answer to that is simple, you've crashed on an unknown, unexplored planet, what would you do if you were really in that situation? Apart from panic, you'd probably want to find a way to get off the planet and go home... And that is your goal in Subnautica, explore, discover, and find a way out.

For me I didn't have any complaints with the graphics, to me it looked amazing. Sound effects and music were perfect, really helped to create mood and build the suspense as you go in to the deeper and darker areas. The different biomes looked beautiful, and the ecosystem they've created in this game is amazing. Even having completed the main story there are still so many places to explore, in the shallow areas, and deep inside the extensive cave systems.

Don't let fear of the creatures stop you from playing Subnautica. If you're afraid you'll get lost too easily, don't let that put you off, there are tools within the game to help you navigate and mark where you've been.

In Subnautica you are always made to feel like the smallest, weakest creature on this planet. You are vulnerable and never reach a point where you can dominate this planet. Most games make you the hero, not in Subnautica, in this game you're just a tiny human trying to survive on a totally unknown planet.

Subnautica is not a game for everyone, its hard, but I would highly recommend Subnautica to anyone, don't let fear stop you, dive in and start exploring.

I love transports sims and city builders and I do like the different angle that A-Train takes with these concepts, rather than being a mayor you are more of a business person, building a rail empire and subsidiaries to help support that rail and ultimately increase profits.

This is a game with a lot of potential but unfortunately is continually held back by poor translations that:

- Introduce new bugs, that aren't being patched

- Content was removed (Available only in the Japanese version)

- Despite claims new content would be made available no such new content has been released. Since the game launched around October 2014 there has been a single update which contained 1 freight train in a game that largely focuses on passenger transport

- No support for Steam Workshop so its not even possible for modders to fix the above issues

The sad part is there is nothing actually wrong with the gameplay itself, its just that with the above mentioned problems I could not honestly recommend this game to anyone when there are other games like Train Fever that are doing it better.
