Rogue*LITE*: meaning you're bashing your head against a literally impossible game until you inevitably get enough stats to actually beat it :(

it's surprisingly unresponsive too, your cobuns sometimes will straight up ignore your commands. i think the artstyle makes it REALLY hard to see what's going on too, projectiles get lost in the storm of Everything Else On Screen. the enjoyability of a run also seems solely dependant on your random upgrades too. get lucky or spend like 5 minutes straight on a boss pressing the same button over and over again.

and perfect inputs feel *reeeally* off beat.

a massive massive MASSIVE shame because patapon 1 and 2 are some of my fav games of all time.
i'm not disappointed that it's not patapon, i'm disappointed because it's neither fun or intriguing.

without a shred of irony or exaggeration, this game steals ALL of your online sensitive information. Do yourself a favour and never play another game owned by this company.

it's like darkest dungeon 1 if it was just a little worse in every aspect. surprisingly buggy and punishes *good* decisions. worse roster and losing one unit almost always ends your run. not too fond of extremely long and grindy metaprogression timegating content. playing on controller is suuuuper janky too

BUT! i do commend the devs for making something unique and not just DD1 again, i'm sure other people will have the exact opposite take

i want Vestal to be mean to me

game won't open at all after the update i was hyped for. Denuvo only punishes legitimate buyers, the game will be, if not already has been cracked.

it's the best game i've ever played.

Not bad by any means but Hades 1 seems to just be a better game in every regard right now, maybe after early access I'll revisit it and change my mind but as it stands, just play the first one instead
