To be honest, I really did enjoy this game for quite some time, but im finding it more and more difficult to complete and i couldn't quite pinpoint exactly why. But i think ive finally figured it out. Its not because of the loading screens, its not because of the boring intro, its because starfield fails to immerse you as an RPG should.

In comparison to other games:
Elite Dangerous is on its own, a non immersive game, but its trying to be a space freight game, not an RPG. when it comes to space freight, Elite Dangerous excels at every box people desired for that genre.

No mans sky on its own has flaws, it doesnt have the most immersive story, nor does it have the best combat, but its not trying to be a space combat game, its trying to be an exploration sandbox which it now checks all the boxes for.

Now what about Starfield? Starfield is attempting to be an immersive RPG game. but it fails to check some of the most crucial boxes that support that genre. Yes, starfield is loaded with lore and quests, Yes starfield has favorable base building mechanics, but where it lacks is making the NPC's feel real. Think back to Oblivion. The characters felt real (for their time). you could say starfield is far more advanced with its NPC's now compared to oblivion, but considering what could have been done due to the advancement of technology, the NPC's are quite far behind. At least for oblivion, the NPC's achieved the maximum of what they could at the time, and in comparison to other games from the early 2000s, felt extremely real to us. Look at skyrim, NPC's would walk between work and home, sit down and eat, talk to eachother, have simple routines. Starfield NPC's walk around aimlessly. even shop owners had no routine and stayed behind the counter 24/7.

If you could rate this game with 1 - 5 stars, id give this game 4.9 stars. that's only because you cant romance with Mrs, Weasley.

Introduction: I recently played Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous and was blown away by the immersive gameplay and complex mechanics. The game is based on the tabletop RPG of the same name and features a deep story with multiple branching paths. The sound design is also top-notch, with immersive music and sound effects that really bring the world to life. If you're a fan of tabletop RPGs like D&D and Pathfinder, this game is a must-play. However, if you're new to this type of game, it might be a bit overwhelming.

Gameplay: The gameplay is highly complex and interactive. There are loads of different mechanics at play, from combat to character development to decision-making, and they all work together seamlessly to create a dynamic and engaging experience.

Story: The story is rich and immersive, with multiple branching paths and a deep lore that fans of the tabletop RPG will love. Your decisions have a huge impact on the story, and the game does a great job of making you feel like your actions have real consequences. The characters are well-developed and the world is full of mystery and intrigue.

Graphics and Sound: The graphics and sound design are top-notch. The environments are beautifully rendered and the character models are highly detailed. The music and sound effects are also immersive and really bring the world to life. The voice acting is also top-notch, with talented actors bringing the characters to life.

Replay Value: With multiple branching paths and a deep story, this game has a lot of replay value. I found myself wanting to play through the game multiple times to see all the different endings and explore all the different paths available to me. The game is also highly replayable due to the complex gameplay mechanics and the wealth of content available.

Conclusion: Overall, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is an excellent RPG with immersive gameplay, a complex and engaging story, and top-notch graphics and sound design. The replay value is also high, with multiple branching paths and a wealth of content to explore. I highly recommend this game to fans of tabletop RPGs like D&D and Pathfinder, but it might be a bit overwhelming for players new to this type of game.

Early Access Review
Thoughts at a glance:
It's AMAZING.
Its polished for an early access game.
Building is decent.
Beefy combat system, you can feel each hit.
Its a beautiful game with an art style that brings back nostalgia.
Trees...

Detailed Review:
When playing for the first time, i realized early on that the game will NOT hold your hand. There is a bird that will occasionally give you advice and answer questions you may have about the game. It gives you a brief tutorial at the beginning of the game but after that, it will find you when you discover something new and tell you about it and what you can do with it. But for the most part, your on your own to figure things out. I have also discovered early on that even the intro level creatures are brutal when your ill equipped. This is what i love about the game. It reminds me of the good old days when i first played dark souls to find that unlike every other game, if you get hit by a strong creature, your dead. Even the trees are out to get you.

After a few hours of playing, i had finally built a house and got a pretty good routine going. You will spend allot of time and i mean ALLOT of time farming to gather items. one of the main items you will need at the beginning of the game is boar skin. Boars don't spawn as often as you would think. Imagine how often sheep spawn in Minecraft. You will find them occasionally. 6 hours in and i felt confident that i'm making progress and can begin to take on more robust creatures... then a troll smacked me.

Overall, i love this game. With it being 30 dollars for early access and it being indistinguishable from an officially released game, i feel i have gotten my moneys worth. With the grinding, huge world, building, bosses, addicting combat system and satisfying hits when they connect, i will probably be spending allot of time on this game these next few months.

LAUNCH HAS LEFT A BAD TASTE, But do the updates make up for it?

Short Answer, Yes.

Summary: I've had no mans sky since day 1, and have always had a sweet spot for space related games. Although this game on launch day has left a bad taste in my mouth, The updates have allowed this game to surpass all expectations and live up to its hype. With the fully fleshed out 30 hours of optional story, to the fleet management, to the planet hoping, and even the missions, you will always find something to do.

The GOOD:
- Beautiful Solar Systems and planets with aquatic and land life.
- Multiplayer missions allowing you to play with friends, who doesn't like playing with friends?
- Single Player missions allowing you to have in game goals to challenge and beat.
- Base Building that brings you back to the good ol minecraft days, though it does have less materials to build with, you can improvise with land manipulation.
- Land Manipulating which is always fun.
- Exploring, though sometimes repetitive, every once in a while you are struck with a very unique planet.
- Upgrades allowing you to work towards better ships, space suits, multitools, fleets, etc.

The BAD:
- Could use more randomization, some animals share common traits with animals on other planets. this also applies to plants, trees, etc. this causes it to feel repetitive over time.
- Although the multiplayer was a huge step in the right direction, you cant stumble across someone else in the universe, you can only play with others via party or the hub.
- Lacking in the star ship industry. over time, you will begin to recognize ships as if you've seen them before. for an example, you may see several ships that look alike in every way, except for the cockpit. The cockpit might be different.
- Some missions require time to pass, weather it be 30 minutes or 3 hours. Time spent off the game also pauses the time that elapses for the missions. if you are really busy and don't have the time to play this game for 3 hours straight and don't want to leave the game on and running then that 3 hours can turn in to several days.
