Frustrating, cruel, and unforgiving. Maybe this game isn't for everyone.

Also still in early access 4 years later but I don't think Ostranauts is alone in that.

I have felt scared while playing this game. It does not jump scare you often; rather feels like a slow burn of your sanity with limited resources at your disposal. This game is sometimes (only somewhat) difficult, challenging or punishing. You will have to get creative to make it out alive!

There are several endings... I only save-scummed some of it 😅

A lot of times it feels rather arbitrary when I die but I suppose that is the point of this game... just a lot of lost progress...

Too grindy... seems pay to win.

Overall kind of unpolished IMO. Still quite fun to play for a while but building stuff is not as easy as it seems at first glance. Exploration and enemies are more annoying than anything... fun to play only for a while.

The roleplaying is fun and combat is only somewhat wonky (enemies dodge rather strangely, sneaking is OP).

The music is nice. The quests can feel a bit superficial.

Mods are really where this game shines brightest.

Pretty looking but grindy. Also if you play on a server things can happen to your stuff while you are offline. A private server is nice for playing with a few friends but can get old... dying can get old lol.

This game has significantly improved since release.

It is fun to play for quite some time, and there have been continuous updates.

Exploring is fun, flying is fun, shooting things is fun. This is definitely a game best played with others - last I played, multiplayer was only somewhat wonky.

It is not worth $60 IMO... maybe $40... I think I bought it at $25 iirc.

Still quite enjoyable nonetheless.

This game is a spiritual successor to Sid Meiers "Sim City" and it does a good job of it.

Pros:
- fairly good looking
- can disable the annoying bird
- challenging but only moderately so.
- optimizing is fun.
- There are a lot of community addons and mods; they are easy to install.

Cons:
- traffic AI is weird (though not terrible). This can be mostly fixed with the "TMPE" mod.
- roads are sometimes difficult to place.
- RCI demand sometimes feels wonky.
- wish I could do mixed zones.
