I'm not even a fan of Muppets, I just bought this to support a dev who made a wonderful game that my friends and I have spent many hours in together.

Thank you for creating such an enjoyable VR experience.

Encountered several gamebreaking bugs and oversights. The biggest one is one that everyone can run into easily:

If you teleport all creatures of one species away from an area (fulfill the Rescue Robot's quota), no more creatures of that species will spawn in that area. That means if you have obstacles to clear, paths that require a Creature to explore, etc, you can no longer do those, and you will have areas that you will be permanently be unable to access for the remainder of the game. If there's creatures that you need for the Rescue Robot, key items, quest items, STORY ITEMS, etc, tough luck, you can't progress. And if there's a story item or something you need to interact with for story progression- you're just screwed and your game progression is locked forever. (NOTE: According to the devs- story items can't get stuck behind areas like this, but I've been told by other players on steam discussions that they can't do some quests because of it- so while we know Creatures/Key Upgrade Items/etc can get stuck, we're not entirely clear on the story/quest items yet)

I attempted to get support on Steam Discussions, and several players were having the same bug with no way to fix it or around it. We tried many solutions: Reloading the game, area, completing quests- in hopes that creatures respawned- No dice. We tried bringing in creatures from other areas, but a wall blocks them off from leaving their original areas.

I'm extremely disappointed. The demo had me so hyped, I literally set my alarm clock for this game's release to buy and play it the moment it came out. Seems I had too much faith in the game devs.

To the dev response: Telling us to load an old save if we haven't noticed an area we didn't explore is not a solution, especially for the people in my Discussions thread who said they didn't notice it until hours later. We're not "rushing to teleport". The game TELLS us to teleport creatures away, we are literally trying to complete objectives that the game tells us to do.

It's insane that this is intentional by design.

EDIT 2: Refund request submitted. It's clear the dev has no immediate plans to change this, despite the unhappy players.

Genuinely super fun and relaxing VR game. Even more fun with friends. It's nice that there's such a chill VR game for a rather cheap price on Steam. Levels are super replayable if you're the type of person that likes to beat their best score each time.

Love having this in the background while I work/surf the web. It helps me relax and focus.

The customization options are great as well, I was able to make a very cozy room that I would love to have in real life.

I can play other VR games without losing my balance, but for some reason, the movement in this game is disorienting and makes me stumble irl.

Also, it feels more like a tech demo than an actual game, the "story" I played was just a really, really long "Look at what the physics in this game can do" and I got bored. I didn't pay $30 for a tech demo, I expected an actual game.

Sandbox mode is also locked until you clear """"""story"""""" if it can even be called that. I tried to access it, but all sandbox rooms were locked.

Maybe I've been spoiled by games like Half Life Alyx, but this "game" does not feel like a game. If I want a tech demo, I'll play one of the many free ones made by Valve.

I don't like mascot horror. Like, at all.

Indigo Park so far has been the one and only exception. You can tell this game is a labor of love.

Devs hate fun. The devs think that a weapon should be nerfed because "30% of players used it". That's literally less than 1/3. Their answer to players liking weapons is to nerf the weapons, while leaving underpowered or useless weapons without buffs.

Devs also said that realistically, fire has no effect on metal, and that's why they nerfed weapons like the flamethrower vs armor. Fire + Metal = heat. Metal melts. Anything wrapped in the metal (like a bug) would be overheated and melt/burn as well. Also, in the first World War, flamethrowers were used vs tanks because the flames could get through via cracks and heat alone, and damage it internally.

This shows that the devs both have no connection to gameplay, the playerbase, and reality. If you want to see just how little they understand, watch their devs play streams. They use light-armor penetrating weapons vs gunships, take 5-10 seconds to input a 4-key stratagem, and try to use a Rover to kill a Hulk. They will empty mag after mag from a weapon that does not have proper armor penetration into a heavily armored enemy, having zero reaction to the visual indicator of their shots bouncing off the armor. They play worse than game journalists. I don't expect them to be masters at the game, but they don't even understand the most basic things about their own game.

Devs do not know what they're doing at all. They're like the kid who starts screaming "YOU'RE PLAYING IT WRONG, YOU'RE NOT HAVING FUN RIGHT!" at the group who are all laughing and enjoying themselves together.

Devs also insist that people like the changes because they keep playing the game. It's literally that meme:
"We should try to improve society somewhat."
"And yet you continue to participate in society! Curious! I am very intelligent"

Early Access Review
Human shot at me, I caught him in a ball, then put him in a display cage so my Pals and I could laugh at him and mock him.
