All I can say is that it's one of those rare games that are NOT overhyped. Best game I've played in years but beware, it's more addictive than crack.

After the new Wastelanders update, it actually feels like a Fallout game.

I migrated from the Bethesda launcher version after playing ~15 hours? I'm close to passing that time now after just one week. Most bugs are fixed albeit there are some performance issues. The main improvements are the NPCs, factions and the new dialog system/attributes checks. If Bethesda continue to support the game like this, it'll be a real gem.

For new players who consider buying it, if you like Fallout 4 and don't mind the online jank so much, you'll find some good times here exploring Appalachia

Great game that is keep getting huge updates

Factorio is much like programming a highly scalable, distributed system – it’s hard, and you are going to make mistakes, and you are going to spend a TON of time refactoring.

It's also very very fun and a HUGE time sink so beware.

The factory must grow...

It's like playing chess with giant insects and huge robots, what's not to like?

While the dialog system, voiced protagonist and mostly linear choices in quests hurt the game, there's still A LOT to love.

The more I play the game, the more I like it. Specifically with survival mode, it's like a different game.

And of course, mods. Sim settlements is a must if you hate the vanilla settlement system.

Probably the best DLC Bethesda ever created. If you didn't like vanilla Fallout 4, try Far Harbor

Feels like many of the problems people had with F4 were addressed here

Better than the original although different. Developer keeps updating with new modes and content. Very addictive!

PROS

- Same game as the Skyrim you know and love
- Free if you have the original + DLCs
- New 64bit engine, DX11 support
- New lighting effects and no pixelated shadows
- ALT TAB WORKS
- Mod scene seems to pick it up quickly, month or two we'll have close to same level of modability as original (maybe without ENBs | UPDATE - ENB support already here!)

CONS

- Same game as the Skyrim you know and hate(?)
- Very little has changed. Almost no bug fixes from original
- Some textures still look fugly, animations and characters still look like 2011
- Currently no SKYUI so inventory management is a pain (will probably change soon)

Overall, outside of the new engine and effects, not much has been done. BUT, this alone should make you very excited for the future as the modding potential is huge

If you got this for free, then it's a no brainer

If you haven't played Skyrim before (you exist? are you a chocolate unicorn?), 40$ for all DLCs and this fancy version, I'd say it's worth the money. Especially given the crazy replayability with mods

If you didn't have all DLCs and didn't get the upgrade from original Skyrim, I'd say wait for a discount + more mods to make the transition

Liars.

Game is a grindfest unless you pay for tons of DLC and now they added pay to win microtransations. Real shame cause the base game is awesome and fun.
