Faithful remaster of the original game is what I can honestly say.

Upon starting the game, you're met with the familiar score that we all heard 19 years ago. Chills down my spine, even to this day. Keeping with the times, though, the menu has changed with a much more modern looking UI, sorta similar to Skyrim's in a way. There were some issues with getting the settings to work for me, but once I enabled frame-gen, I was on my way with a very solid frame rate. Reality hit when the game started in the cells how much of the original bones were kept intact. As soon as the chains hanging from the ceiling started behaving all wonky when I walked into them, and a guard kept walking in place for about ten seconds as they had issues entering the cell, I knew that 'remaster' was really the right word. No way was the engine underneath this new coat of paint improved or fixed. Sometimes, that's alright. Personally, I have a fondness for the jank, provided it doesn't hinder me completing a quest, such as important items disappearing from my inventory (looking at you, 360 version). However, I have to admit it could have used some bit more time in the oven, as it doesn't even feel like the final patched version of Oblivion. Obviously, at 92 hours in, things are going well enough, but I still find it odd that I am experiencing *more* bugs than I ever did on the original. But clearly, even with this happening, I still feel myself being drawn back to the game. Even with its ancient engine underneath the new chassis, the spit shine and polish does really does bring out the best Oblivion had to offer, of which I am still impressed. Still, can't help but think of what could have been had the developers just kind of let go of the idea of maintaining bugs and glitches for the sake of nostalgia.

Also, don't let a menu change bother you too much. There are worst things to worry about, and at the end of the day, it's still the same fun game from 2006.

A wonderful detective game with a fun gimmick and no stressful time limits. I just wish you were able to play it all over again.

I enjoyed this game a lot. It's a short but sweet horror experience that never got too frustrating with its puzzles. Mara is an enjoyable protagonist, and the story, while a little funky, makes sense in the end if you take the time to read things. Controls aren't perfect, but significantly better than a lot of PSX-era games, which this game aims to emulate. On sale or not, it's price tag is worth it. Really great for the upcoming spooky season!

Great remaster! In addition to all the content it comes with, including the Quake II 64 campaign, I particularly love the extras, such as the neat playable E3 demo. Recommended!

Lil Gator Game is a very fun, snack-sized portion game, merging the exploration parts of Breath of the Wild with the style of A Short Hike. My favorite character is avery! who absolutely made sure they had an exclamation mark at the end of their name for the dialogue box. They're good at coming up with drama.

It's pretty good, I guess.

I barely play this game, but I think it's fun enough to get a thumbs up.

Pretty damn good. It's amazing how, thanks to the level design, I did not have to look anything up to proceed, even on parts I thought would confuse me. I did almost get stuck near the end of the first section of Xen, but found out it was nothing a boomstick couldn't take care of. Speaking of which, I absolutely loved the first half of Xen. Play it for that reason, at the very least, if you've played the original and haven't checked out Black Mesa yet.

You'll keep coming back to play this day after day~ay~ay~ay.

Seriously, this game is the sole reason why I bought a PS Vita.
