First impression is great. Weapon roles feel consistent, movement is fluid and not too difficult to perform (there is no advanced tech like rocket jumping or bunny hopping), and the visual/audial information isn't overwhelming. However, there are a few hiccups that I find annoying:
  • Air movement feels sluggish and out of place, attempting to double jump with any movement key held instead performs a pitiful air-dash
  • Reloading feels out of place in an arena shooter and feels like it adds unnecessary downtime
  • Health regeneration plays an annoying sound
  • Wall-running isn't explained and I still don't really get how to do it in the first place
  • Lack of even a simple tutorial
  • No power-ups (aside from rocket launcher) or armor on map to encourage players to explore and create their own routes
  • You have to press W to pick up things, you cannot simply run over dropped weapons to get ammo
Other than that, very promising game! Hope to see more soon.

Yeah, we weren't ready for a release yet, but had to duct tape a bunch of stuff together to be ready for the jauwn video. Your well mannered and considered feedback is very much appreciated, and know that we are trying to resolve the issues as best as we can. We're a VERY small development team.
