It's good but often ruined and nearly impossible to completely enjoy the game fully as it's been overtaken by hackers and modders that seek nothing but to ruin something good to the point you have to either do an invite only server or play by yourself or just do the single player story if anything.

- no hunger and food system (gtasa)
- no gambling or casino system (gtsa)
- no fuel system (mafia 2)
- no speeding system (mafia 2)
- no roadspikes (gtavc)
- no good big random events (minor ones do exist but they're lame)
- no bowling alley
- only a handful of enterainment things to do
- visiting the fair/carnival is a joke (only a few things work there)
- no restaurants to visit
- not enough stores to rob
- can't rob certain stores like clothing stores (makes no sense)
- it's not very clear what the symbols are on the map for players in online multiplayer mode
- tough to find other players for some online multiplayer missions
- no cross-compatability (inexcusable in this day and age)
- can't hire any npc thugs to fill gaps in online multiplayer mode
- can only enter certain buildings (not many)
- why the heck is there oceans and rivers and boats and yet still no ability to go fishing???
- modders and hackers abusing and exploiting the game is a constant problem
- you have to change servers to avoid the nonsense which is very annoying
- it's become clear as day to me that rockstar simply doesn't care and will never fix this issue
- lots of other players are just greedy, hateful, toxic, and unhelpful with missions
- difficult to find other players to enjoy it with anymore
- even cheaters at the car races magically getting ahead and never going through the full track

= I can longer recommend this game. It's only fun if you play by yourself pretty much, there's no way to enjoy it outside of that which defeats the purpose of even bothering with the game. It's clear as day that Rockstar has not tried hard enough to deal with the problem and has given up with nothing but excuses after making millions of dollars off players and will likely continue to do so which will likely carry over into the next gta game as well. Yes, I am referring to the announced and upcoming GTA 6. I strongly believe rockstar has enough funding they could hire a huge team to combat the problem fully once and for all instead of letting it happen pretty much even if they had to enact anticheat and remove modding entirely which would upset a lot of people but it would remove a vast set of tools and capabilties that lead to the hacking issues. For this reason I hardly play the game anymore as it's no longer enjoyable and I don't suggest it to anyone anymore.
