how do you explain to someone that tearing spaceships apart in zero gravity is some of the most fun you can have in a video game?

good fun, if a little fiddly to get used to.
10/10, would recommend.

Genuinely fun to play, even when the game is stacked against you thanks to pay2win mechanics.

BUT

the PC version looks ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ terrible.
i'll be waiting until the devs fix the graphics so PC players can use max detail settings.

Devil Daggers Lite. and that's not a bad thing. some of the most fun i've had for 3$, tons of fun.

VISIT NEW PLANETS, TAKE ALL THEIR RESOURCES, CLAIM VICTORY OVER THE ECOLOGY, BUILD MORE SPHERES. THE ONLY THING TO SPHERE IS SPHERE ITSELF!

build your harem out of strange cute demon ladies. die a lot, it entertains them.

slow, but brilliant, somehow deeper than Stellaris, and your actions mean more to the overall game.

As a huge fan of earlier Mechwarrior games, i dove into this with reckless abandon. only to be confronted with an entirely different style of game. one far deeper, and far more rewarding than the older games.

I started this game with next to no skill, thanks to my run-and-gun days in Mechwarrior 3, and it did take some time to find my footing. but once i found it? god it was worth the wait. and the community? by far the best PC gaming community i've ever been involved in. i can count on one hand the # of people i've encountered that could be considered irredeemable jackas$es.

13/10, great game, definitely recommend people take more than just a passing glance at it.

it's as if Freelancer and Space Engineers had a dirty baby.

seriously fun, but without any sense of urgency whatsoever.

great to just hop in and play a couple hours to relax.

looking forward to where this'll end up over the next year, a la patches, new features, etc.

a fun little game, worth the admission price. very easy to pick up, combat is well paced, not a lot to it right now, but lots of features planned, looking forward to playing more of it as it's updated.

even more fun now, still suck at it, but a ton of fun, and lots to do.
