After completing the game, I can say overall this is a fairly fun beat-em up 3d platformer. It has a lot of charm in the voice acting and story line scripts (as a lot of the dialogue is entirely through text). The characters a cute and cartoony with a bit of self awareness. Very late PS2/Early PS3 graphics.
The world is expansive enough for smaller game with fun little secrets and in jokes.
The controls are fairly straightforward and not overly complex.
The gripes I do have are small, like random respawn glitches and randomly attacking when double jumping (only happened 2 times through the playthrough though).
I will state, the invisible walls did bother me a bit as well, understanding its not a truly open world; but putting a fence that I jump higher than next to me and not letting me jump over it feels odd.

In short, I recommend this game to fans of platformers and qwerky games like Jersey Devil and Gex.

I look forward to other things these people start working on!

I have completed the game 100% and gotten all achievements for this game just to write a review for it.
Cosmic shake, made by the same devs as the BFBB Rehydrated, feels very similar to other spongebob game. This is not a bad thing, as it feels very nice. There are some new things added to this game though, like the pizza glide (more on that in a second) that make the game different enough to still need to learn things.
The levels are well themed and nothing in them seems out of place for what they are trying to do, each being a reference to a spongebob episode (as far as I can tell). The art styles all mesh very well and have that cartoon feel to them.
The downsides are the Pizza glide, limited voice acting, and the ENDLESS invisible walls. The Pizza glide, though helpful, needed to be tweaked more. It activates if you hold the jump button, which goes against most platforming instincts. If this could be the "3rd jump" like most game do I would let it slide; but is isn't. The voice acting over all is very nice; but the constant repeating of the same phrases gets aggravating and had me taking off my headphones just to not hear them again. Every level has invisible walls or instant deaths that make no sense, like an invisible wall on top of a wall that has something next to it that (in other games) would help you jump it. If they did not want us jumping over things or gliding past portions of levels, they should have closed them off.
Overall I am happy that I played the game and own it as part of my spongebob collection; but it has flaws that could have been prevented in the development fairly easily.

NES game tropes abound, this game brings them all to light; but being respectful to the old games. It plays like an old Final Fantasy game, and looks like one as well. If you grew up with this style, or are a younger player who likes the "retro" look of games like this, I can't recommend this enough.
I am not even a big fan of JRPGS; but I made it all the way through this one.

I was given this game to do a review on Youtube. I have enjoyed it so much, that I have bought a copy on another system. This BELONGS in the library of EVERY retro metroidvania fans. It feels like an old SNES game, with all the right looks. If they had this working for a retro system, I would buy it on cart AGAIN. I cannot speak highly enough of this game.
Amazing sound work, beautiful pixel graphics, great story, heart pumping boss battles, thought provoking exploration. It feels like what castlevania SHOULD BE.

This is a "game" that is a find the items and click them simulator, in a wrapper of a classic novel. The whole story is ripped straight from the book it is "based" on with lack-luster puzzles. Unless you get it for free, it is not worth it.

I am sad the devs moved on from this game instead of fixing the bugs. There is a lot of fun to be had here, though the game may be a bit too hard as a solo player. Def get your friends in on the game and go ham on the aliens.
It IS a rougelike- so it changes every playthrough, leading to hard scares and endless feeling of helplessness.

This game is flawed, its buggy, it feels incomplete. I still have to say I enjoyed my time with it overall.
It is a very short experience, and feels like it would be at home on the PS1 or N64 as a family friendly platformer. I think it was worth the price I paid for it over all, and wish the devs the best on their other ventures.

This game is not really a game; but a dropping ground for store bought or free assets. This company seems to just re-use every item from one game and shoves it into another, releasing more and more and flooding the store with them. I left a review on 2 of their other games using these assets, and 1 on a game that this company published (and I suspect made under a different name)
Don't buy it.

This game is a scam, same with its sequel. They (and angry golf) just re-use the same assets and maps over and over across as many games as they can. Everything is buggy and doesn't fit one another.
If they at least programmed the game properly and only used assets that fit together, maybe it would have been at least mediocre; but as it is, this game is unplayable.

A game that could have been a silly and goofy fun time turned to poop. Much like angry bunny (even sharing almost all the same assets and a few levels being shared) it is a quick cash grab with nothing to bring to the table. Everything is from different free 3d model or map sites.
If they had actually put effort into this and made things original, it may have been a fun time. It was not worth the time it took to download. I beat the "game" 100% in 1 hour.
