Coming from playing fallout 3 and new vegas (one of my favourtite games of all time), I had high hopes for this game. Upon completing my first playhtrough I can safely say that I did enjoy myself. The text dialogue options and some repetitive side quests were a big step down imo (probably trying to cater for console), but can be forgiven with the installation of some nexus mods. The main city in fallout 4 is interesting, but I feel freeside and the strip from new vegas are much more interesting. Other aspects such as designing settlements is an area of the game that you like or dont, but if you dont, you arent really forced to spend time creating settlements. Overall, I would reccomend this game, it does have its problems and definitely cant stand up to new vegas, I think the depth of story is definitely lacking and not as interesting as new vegas, but with the help of some key mods, the playing experience goes from a 7/10 to a 8.5/10.
