2. why does cuphead have the bent straw? cups are bowl shaped while mugs are cylindrical. being a cylinder; it makes more sense for mugman to have a bent straw because at rest the cup will stand vertically.

If you're looking for a platformer, sidescroller, or puzzle game. Try something else that does it better:

Limbo
Braid
Ori and the Blind Forest
Inside
Rayman Legends

All of these games execute the concepts this game was trying to use much better. This game's story, visuals, voice acting, and controls are all terrible. Don't believe the hype circling around here on steam reviews. If you have played and enjoyed all of the games I mentioned above, then it is possible you will enjoy this game. Otherwise, you're better off playing subway surfer because it is atleast responsive.


Metacritic's collective review is much more accurate than the hype here.

Very dissappointed in how poorly executed this sidescroller platformer is. People who will enjoy this game: die-hard sideshooter fans.

Good for people looking to try Skyrim nostalgically or for the first time.

I enjoyed this game, but Sean Murray lied

At first I dismissed the criticism, echoing what Sean Murray said 'It's not what it was hyped to be, its not the game you wanted it to be, take it for what it is'

But looking back at the interviews, it's not the hype that killed this game, it's Sean Murray's lies. All of the stuff he claimed was just 'made up hype' were things that he said would be there. It wasn't hyped by the audience, it was hyped by the devs, and all of the hype was built around Sean Murray's lies.
