"bruh moment" doesn't even begin to describe this. what the actual ♥♥♥♥ is wrong with you.

This is one of the best arcade-style games I've played in recent years, and that's including the actual arcade games I've played. This game is surprisingly challenging, deceptively deep, and of course, the vibes are IMMACULATE. This is the kind of game that you could just zone out and get lost in for hours. The simplistic art style, the gorgeous visual effects, the almost hypnotic soundtrack, and the old-school "Asteroids" gameplay loop combine into a true gem of an experience.

It's also really fun when you're stoned. :D

My inner child is so happy to be able to play this again.

This game is yet another example of a game with amazing potential, squandered when the developers sold out to a big publisher and decided to hit the road. The fact you are still charged full-price for the game, 5 years after its abandonment, should be a crime. I've heard that the source code for the game was eventually released by the skeleton crew left to maintain the game before they too left, and that modders have been hard at work fixing the issues with the game and attempting to implement features the devs promised during crowdfunding but left unfinished (or simply not started) before their departure, but that does nothing to make me feel less betrayed.

Yet another game with great potential, left to die unfinished after being bought out by a scummy publisher. This is probably going to be seen as extreme, but I fully believe it should be considered false advertising and/or breach of contract, made illegal and enforced with hefty fines and prison time, to renege on promises made during crowdfunding without giving full refunds to all backers and post-crowdfunding purchasers.

i wish Mane6 the best of luck in their future endeavours, but I can't see myself supporting anything else they decide to make if this is how they're going to treat their loyal and dedicated fanbase.

This game is my number-one favorite indie horror game. From the atmosphere, to the gameplay, to the sheer psychological terror it dishes out, this game deserves every bit of praise it gets.

Pros:

• Psychological horror on par with Silent Hill and others.
  
• Gameplay is very well-done; controls are tight and responsive, weapons are realistic, enemies are intelligent.
  
• Always manages to keep you alert and scared, with dimly-lit alleyways, nearly-silent buildings, and things moving out of the corner of your eye.
  
• Sound design is masterful; just as many scares come from the background noise as they do the monsters themselves.
  
• Very good-looking, given the age of the engine it runs on.

Cons:

• Co-op mode is buggy, frequently refuses to connect; it's just a PvE deathmatch mode, anyway, and nowhere near the main focus, so it doesn't matter much.
  
• Very dated engine, although the devs hid it well.

Overall: 10/10, would ♥♥♥♥ my pants again.

I wish this were usable. As it is now, I can hardly get through the menu. Trying to actually play anything is like trying to figure out how to teach an old Chinese woman English when you only know German.

PROS:
+ Great concept
+ A lot of effort went into the map customization
+ Good-looking when in an arcade

CONS:
- All menus are at 270p resolution; no option to change it
- Menu layouts are different for everything, and none of them is user-friendly
- No tutorial (at least not an obvious one)
- Controls seem completely arbitrary
- Online functionality is almost non-existent

OVERALL: 2/10 good idea, awful execution.
