Yes it had a buggy release, but how good and fun this game is, completely caught me by surprise. First of, it's a visually beautiful game, even with the unfinished parts. Second is, the open world is massive, 173 hours later I still did not uncovered all it's secrets. The main story-line is fun, but what really shines are the side missions, they vary a lot in game-play style, objectives, length and rewards, and the majority of them are a great fun, tense, or straight up intentionally comical.

The sound in this game plays a particularly amazing immersive part, the sound of the city, the desert, the interior of buildings, cars, and bands, everything is super well done.

Overall, it's one of the best and most original open-world games on PC in recent years. I like a lot of other games in similar style and this is the one that got me a bit obsessive and wanting to play it everyday. I normally don't pursue zeroing all missions and achievements in games, but this one I did almost everything. I saved the final story mission for last. And it was the best decision, had a lot of fun completing all the insane quests in this world that feels truly alive. Now I'll go finish this game!

Borderlands 3 is a good game! It has lots of fresh improvements on many fronts compared to earlier series entries, but It's not a total different game, it feels like a more polished continuation of BD1 and 2, and this is great for fans! The game is quite long to play as there are several missions and side missions that will keep you invested in the story, exploring and looting.
For Borderlands 1 and 2 players that also played Destiny, we know Destiny borrowed things from Borderlands, but BD3 also borrowed a few things from Destiny, and it helped to make it current. It still might feel a bit old-school in terms of the evolution of the game itself, but this is good, a slightly new, and more polished Borderlands.
Only negative is the story, it's funny and have some memorable moments, but in no way captivates us like BD2 did. BD2 had an interesting film-like 3 acts structure, rewarding us properly for climaxing events, on BD3 things are a bit more flat in the story side to highlight co-op and multiplayer features, which caused not many seeds planted with a proper reward later, yet, it's really fun to experience!

I recommend!

Really fun game!
Harvester Command is really about collaboration and it's a major differential for me, really fun part of the game!
Love the characters!

Borderlands 2, so far is the "Empire Strikes Back" of the Borderlands franchise in my opinion, it's a Beautiful looking game that follows the vision and the artistic style of its predecessor but enhances it in so many levels, there are some really great environments to explore, characters really well developed and so many guns to loot that you will spend some good weeks hunting, searching, buying and selling those in order be a better a** kicker! The story and the humor of this game really stands out in terms of quality and care, and it also makes the gameplay both in campaign or co-op have a lot more sense, making you care about this crazy universe Gearbox created.

Amazing FPS experience mixed with all great things from RPG games, try it without expecting similar to other games experience. Keep in mind that the game have a kind of a "Rocker" attitude.
